खलारी, 26 सितम्बर : वज्रपात (आकाशीय बिजली) से होने वाली मौत पर सरकार ने प्राकृतिक आपदा की श्रेणी में डालकर मृतक के परिजनों को चार लाख मुआवजा देने की व्यवस्था की है। इसी व्यवस्था के तहत मंगलवार को खलारी अंचल कार्यालय में वज्रपात से हुई मौत मामले में मृतक की पत्नी को आपदा राहत कोष से चार लाख रुपये का चेक दिया गया है। चेक खलारी अंचलाधिकारी ने अपने कार्यालय में तीन गवाहों के समक्ष मृतक की पत्नी सुरजी देवी को दिया। अंचलाधिकारी शिशुपाल आर्य ने बताया कि 17 जून 2022 को सुरजी देवी के पति सधन गंझू की मौत मैकलुस्कीगंज थाना क्षेत्र के हेसालौंग बकुलियाटांड़ में वज्रपात से हो गई थी। घटना के करीब 15 माह के बाद मृतक की पत्नी को आपदा राहत कोष से चार लाख मुआवजा की राशि दी गई है। मौके पर पीएलवी से रंजना गिरी, समाज सेवी हेमलाल गंझू व उमेश यादव मौजूद थे।
