गुमला : – स्कूल गेम्स फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया के अंतर्गत जम्मू कश्मीर में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल प्रतियोगिता में झारखंड राज्य की U -17 बालिका फुटबॉल टीम ने गोल्ड मेडल तथा U -17 बालक फुटबॉल टीम ने ब्रॉन्ज मेडल प्राप्त किया। इसके अतिरिक्त, हरियाणा में आयोजित U -17 बालिका हॉकी प्रतियोगिता में भी झारखंड टीम ने गोल्ड मेडल जीते , साथ ही साथ उक्त सफल खिलाड़ियों के गुमला आगमन पर उपायुक्त गुमला ने उन्हें माला एवं मेडल पहनाकर सम्मानित किया और उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की शुभकामनाएं दी।
इस प्रतियोगिता में झारखंड फुटबॉल बालिका टीम से गुमला जिले के 6 खिलाड़ी, हॉकी बालिका टीम से 5 खिलाड़ी तथा बालक फुटबॉल टीम से 4 खिलाड़ी ने भाग लिया था।
इस अवसर पर जिला खेल पदाधिकारी मनोज कुमार, फुटबॉल प्रशिक्षक बिना केरकेट्टा, हॉकी प्रशिक्षक शंभु कुमार, जिला खेल समन्वयक मनीष हेंब्रम और कार्यालय के अन्य कर्मचारी उपस्थित थे।
