फेसबुक आईडी का दुरुपयोग कर ठगी, युवक के दोस्त से ₹3,000 की धोखाधड़ी

गुमला जिले के जारी थाना क्षेत्र अंतर्गत तिगरा दर्पण टोली निवासी युवक प्रताप एक्का ने अपने नाम और फोटो के दुरुपयोग से ठगी का मामला उजागर किया है। प्रताप ने बताया कि किसी अज्ञात व्यक्ति ने उनका नाम और फोटो इस्तेमाल कर एक फर्जी फेसबुक प्रोफाइल बनाई और उनके दोस्तों से पैसे मांगकर ठगी कर रहा है।

फर्जी फेसबुक आईडी से ठगी

रविवार को प्रताप एक्का ने जानकारी दी कि उनकी फर्जी फेसबुक आईडी के जरिए उनके नजदीकी दोस्त रोशन मिंज से ₹3,000 की ठगी की गई। ठग ने बीमारी का बहाना बनाकर पैसे मांगे और रोशन मिंज ने उसे ऑनलाइन ट्रांसफर कर दिए।

प्रताप ने कहा कि ठगी करने वाले व्यक्ति ने यूपीआई आईडी में “इकबाल” नाम का उपयोग किया और मोबाइल नंबर 79******23 से संपर्क किया।

दोस्तों को भेजे जा रहे हैं संदेश

प्रताप ने आगे बताया कि ठग उनके अन्य फेसबुक मित्रों को भी मैसेज कर तरह-तरह के बहाने बनाकर पैसे मांग रहा है। ठगी का यह सिलसिला कुछ दिनों से जारी है, जिससे प्रताप और उनके मित्र परेशान हैं।

पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराने की तैयारी

प्रताप एक्का ने अपने दोस्तों को सतर्क किया है और जल्द ही इस मामले की शिकायत दर्ज कराने के लिए पुलिस से संपर्क करने की बात कही है।

पुलिस की अपील: सतर्क रहें

गुमला पुलिस ने नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे सोशल मीडिया पर अपनी प्रोफाइल की सुरक्षा का ध्यान रखें। किसी अज्ञात व्यक्ति के संदेशों या पैसों की मांग पर भरोसा न करें और ऐसी घटनाओं की तुरंत सूचना पुलिस को दें।

सोशल मीडिया पर बढ़ती धोखाधड़ी

यह घटना सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म पर बढ़ती साइबर अपराधों की ओर इशारा करती है। पुलिस ने कहा कि वे मामले की जांच कर रहे हैं और जल्द ही ठगी करने वाले व्यक्ति का पता लगाने के लिए साइबर सेल की मदद लेंगे।
