खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग की कार्रवाई, भारी मात्रा में एक्सपायर्ड कोल्ड ड्रिंक जब्त कर नष्ट किया गया

खाद्य सुरक्षा मानकों के उल्लंघन पर संबंधित प्रतिष्ठान के विरुद्ध होगी कार्रवाई

गुमला : – गुमला जिले में खाद्य सुरक्षा मानकों के अनुपालन तथा आमजन के स्वास्थ्य की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से उपायुक्त गुमला प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर शनिवार को खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी प्रकाश चंद्र गुग्गी के नेतृत्व में गुमला शहर के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में सघन निरीक्षण अभियान चलाया गया।
निरीक्षण के दौरान यह पाया गया कि कोल्ड ड्रिंक डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर द्वारा एक्सपायरी उत्पादों को होटलों एवं अन्य खाद्य प्रतिष्ठानों तक उपलब्ध कराया गया है। इस पर कार्रवाई करते हुए खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी द्वारा मेसर्स माही इंटरप्राइजेज, पालकोट रोड, गुमला के परिसर से विभिन्न ब्रांडों के भारी मात्रा में एक्सपायर्ड कोल्ड ड्रिंक जब्त किए गए।
जांच के दौरान यह भी पाया गया कि प्रतिष्ठान में एक्सपायर्ड एवं वैध उत्पादों को एक ही भंडारण क्षेत्र में रखा गया था, जो खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम, 2006 तथा खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक (खाद्य कारोबार का अनुज्ञापन एवं पंजीकरण) विनियम, 2011 का उल्लंघन है। जब्त किए गए एक्सपायर्ड कोल्ड ड्रिंक को नगर परिषद गुमला के प्रशासक के सहयोग से मौके पर ही नष्ट कराया गया।
खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी ने बताया कि संबंधित प्रतिष्ठान के विरुद्ध नियमानुसार विधिसम्मत कार्रवाई की जाएगी तथा आवश्यकतानुसार संबंधित कंपनी के विरुद्ध भी कार्रवाई की प्रक्रिया अपनाई जाएगी।
उन्होंने जिले के सभी खाद्य व्यवसाय संचालकों, एजेंसी संचालकों एवं होटल संचालकों को निर्देश दिया है कि वे अपने प्रतिष्ठानों में रखे खाद्य पदार्थों की गुणवत्ता एवं वैधता की नियमित जांच सुनिश्चित करें। यदि किसी प्रतिष्ठान में एक्सपायर्ड खाद्य पदार्थ पाए जाते हैं तो उनके विरुद्ध खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम, 2006 के तहत कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि आमजन के स्वास्थ्य से किसी भी प्रकार का समझौता नहीं किया जाएगा तथा जिले में इस प्रकार का निरीक्षण अभियान आगे भी लगातार जारी रहेगा।
