रामगढ़ से बोकारो की ओर बढ़ सकता है हाथियों का झुंड, कई गांवों में अलर्ट जारी

गोमिया_रामगढ़ जिले के सुगिया क्षेत्र में 10 से 12 हाथियों के एक झुंड को देखे जाने के बाद आसपास के इलाकों में अलर्ट जारी कर दिया गया है। वन विभाग के अनुसार यह झुंड बोकारो जिले की दिशा में बढ़ सकता है, जिसे देखते हुए संभावित प्रभावित गांवों के लोगों को सतर्क रहने की सलाह दी गई है।
जानकारी के अनुसार हाथियों के बोकारो की ओर बढ़ने की स्थिति में जहरलोंग, सिमराबेड़ा, कंडेर, दरहाबेडा, धवईया, होन्हे और तिरला गांव में इनके प्रवेश की संभावना जताई जा रही है। वन विभाग और क्यूआरटी (त्वरित प्रतिक्रिया दल) की टीम लगातार हाथियों की गतिविधियों पर नजर बनाए हुए है।
इधर लुगू बुरु क्षेत्र में पहले से ही 17 हाथियों के तीन झुंड मौजूद हैं। ऐसे में यदि सुगिया से आया झुंड लुगू बुरु की दिशा में बढ़ता है तो क्यूआरटी की टीम उन्हें उसी दिशा में सुरक्षित रूप से आगे बढ़ाने का प्रयास करेगी। इसके मद्देनजर लुगू बुरु के आसपास के गांवों के लोगों को भी विशेष रूप से सतर्क रहने को कहा गया है।
वन विभाग के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि ये सभी हाथी मूल रूप से 42 हाथियों के एक बड़े झुंड का हिस्सा हैं, जो कुछ समय पहले अलग-अलग समूहों में बंट गए थे। हाल के दिनों में ये झुंड फिर से एकजुट होने लगे हैं, जिससे हाथियों द्वारा नुकसान की घटनाओं में कमी आई है। विभाग का मुख्य प्रयास इन सभी हाथियों को सुरक्षित रूप से एक साथ मिलाने का है।
वन विभाग ने आम लोगों से अपील की है कि वे हाथियों की मौजूदगी को लेकर सतर्क रहें और किसी भी स्थिति में उन्हें छेड़ने या भगाने का प्रयास न करें। लोगों को रात के समय अनावश्यक रूप से घर से बाहर नहीं निकलने तथा सुरक्षा के लिए पक्के घरों में रहने की सलाह दी गई है।
विभाग ने कहा है कि आम जनता की सतर्कता और सहयोग से ही हाथियों की सुरक्षित आवाजाही और लोगों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित की जा सकती है।
