लोकसभा और विधानसभा चुनावों के उत्कृष्ट आयोजन के लिए उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी को मिलेगा राज्य स्तर पर ‘उत्कृष्ट जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी’ का सम्मान
गुमला: राष्ट्रीय मतदाता दिवस के अवसर पर आज गुमला के नगर भवन में जिला स्तरीय कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी ने की। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभू कुमार सिंह, जिला वन प्रमंडल अधिकारी, उप विकास आयुक्त और अपर समाहर्ता उपस्थित थे।
जिला स्तरीय कार्यक्रम में मतदान के प्रति जागरूकता का संकल्प
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी द्वारा सभी नागरिकों को निष्पक्ष और निर्भीक मतदान की शपथ दिलाने से हुई। इस अवसर पर लोकसभा चुनाव में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले जिले के 9 बूथ लेवल अधिकारियों (बीएलओ) को उनके उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए सम्मानित किया गया। साथ ही, विभिन्न विद्यालयों में आयोजित चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने वाले विद्यार्थियों को भी पुरस्कृत कर सम्मानित किया गया।
उपायुक्त कर्ण सत्यार्थी ने उपस्थित नागरिकों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा, “लोकसभा और विधानसभा चुनावों का शांतिपूर्ण और सफल आयोजन सभी के सहयोग से संभव हो सका है। मतदान न केवल हमारा अधिकार है, बल्कि एक जिम्मेदारी भी है, जिसे हमें पूरी निष्ठा से निभाना चाहिए।” उन्होंने भविष्य की पीढ़ी को भी मतदान के महत्व को समझने और अपने परिवार के सदस्यों को जागरूक करने का संदेश दिया।
पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभू कुमार सिंह ने भी अपने विचार रखते हुए कहा, “लोकतंत्र को मजबूत बनाने में मतदान की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है। निष्पक्ष और निर्भीक मतदान से समाज का सकारात्मक विकास होता है।”
