गुमला पुलिस की त्वरित कार्रवाई: अवैध हथियारों के साथ तीन अपराधी गिरफ्तार

गुमला: गुमला पुलिस ने एक गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए एक देशी कट्टा, 315 बोर की आठ जिंदा गोलियां, एक देशी राइफल और एक पैशन प्रो मोटरसाइकिल के साथ तीन अपराधियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। गिरफ्तार अपराधियों को न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत कर गुमला जेल भेज दिया गया।

गुमला अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी (एसडीपीओ) सुरेश प्रसाद यादव ने गुमला सदर थाना परिसर में आयोजित प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में इस गिरफ्तारी की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि गुमला पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभू कुमार सिंह को मुखबिर द्वारा सूचना मिली थी कि गुमला पूर्वी क्षेत्र में कुछ अपराधी रंगदारी वसूलने और किसी बड़ी आपराधिक घटना को अंजाम देने की योजना बना रहे हैं। सूचना के आधार पर एसडीपीओ यादव के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष छापामारी दल का गठन किया गया। इसमें गुमला सदर थाना प्रभारी सुरेंद्र कुमार सिंह, पुलिस उपनिरीक्षक हिमांशु शेखर सिंह, आईआरबी आरक्षी दीनदयाल पाल और अविनाश कुमार पांडे को शामिल किया गया।

रात में की गई घातक कार्रवाई

छापामारी दल ने शनिवार देर रात महादेव नदी के कुलबीरा पुल के पास घेराबंदी कर संदिग्धों का इंतजार किया। इसी दौरान एक मोटरसाइकिल पर सवार तीन लोग वहां पहुंचे। पुलिस ने उन्हें रुकने का इशारा किया, लेकिन वे भागने लगे। पुलिस ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए उनका पीछा कर तीनों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।

गिरफ्तार अपराधियों की पहचान

गिरफ्तार अपराधियों की पहचान कुलबीरा निवासी गुंदर साहू (पिता- फीरू साहू), कुम्हरिया निवासी वृंदा साहू (पिता- स्व. भोला साहू) और भभरी निवासी कमलेश्वर साहू (पिता- खुदी साहू) के रूप में हुई है। वृंदा साहू विकलांग है और पूर्व में आर्म्स एक्ट के तहत जेल जा चुका है। पुलिस ने उनके पास से एक देशी राइफल, एक देशी कट्टा, 315 बोर की आठ जिंदा गोलियां और पैशन प्रो मोटरसाइकिल (नंबर JH 07 H 8423) बरामद की है।

अपराधियों ने स्वीकारा अपराध

गिरफ्तार अपराधियों से गहन पूछताछ के दौरान उन्होंने स्वीकार किया कि वे इलाके में फायरिंग कर लूटपाट और रंगदारी वसूलने की योजना बना रहे थे। पुलिस ने आवश्यक कानूनी प्रक्रिया पूरी कर उन्हें गुमला जेल भेज दिया।

गुमला पुलिस ने इस कार्रवाई को अपराध नियंत्रण की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण सफलता बताया है और अपराधियों पर कड़ी निगरानी बनाए रखने की बात कही है।
