शहीद तेलंगा खड़िया की जयंती हर्षोल्लास के साथ संपन्न

गुमला, झारखंड – गुमला जिले के बसिया मार्केट कॉम्प्लेक्स परिसर में शहीद तेलंगा खड़िया की जयंती अनुमंडल खड़िया समिति, बसिया के तत्वावधान में धूमधाम से मनाई गई। रविवार को आयोजित इस श्रद्धांजलि समारोह में समाज के गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने भाग लिया और तेलंगा खड़िया के संघर्षों को याद किया।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत मुख्य अतिथि बंदइ पूजा समारोह एवं तेलंगा खड़िया स्मारक समिति, बसिया के अध्यक्ष दुर्गा पाहन की उपस्थिति में हुई। इसके बाद खेदरु पाहन, बिरसा पाहन और चंदर भगत ने विधि-विधान से पूजा-अर्चना कर शहीद तेलंगा खड़िया के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण किया।

समाज के विकास के लिए कुरीतियों को दूर करने का आह्वान

इस अवसर पर दुर्गा पाहन ने शहीद तेलंगा खड़िया के जीवन पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि उनके विचार और आदर्श आज भी प्रासंगिक हैं। उन्होंने कहा, “तेलंगा खड़िया ने अपने समाज को जागरूक करने और अन्याय के खिलाफ लड़ने का जो मार्ग दिखाया था, उसी पर चलकर हम समाज को आगे बढ़ा सकते हैं।”

उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि खड़िया समाज अभी भी पिछड़ेपन का शिकार है, और जब तक इसमें फैली कुरीतियों को दूर नहीं किया जाएगा, तब तक विकास संभव नहीं होगा। उन्होंने समाज को एकजुट होकर इन समस्याओं का समाधान करने और जागरूकता बढ़ाने का आह्वान किया।

गणमान्य व्यक्तियों को किया गया सम्मानित

समारोह में उपस्थित सभी पाहन-पुजार और गणमान्य व्यक्तियों को सम्मानित किया गया। इस दौरान बुद्धदेव पाहन, थॉमस इंदवार, रतिया इंदवार, एमलेन कुल्लू, बिरसा कुल्लू, लखन खड़िया, एतवा कुल्लू, दीपक किंडो, मार्टिन कुल्लू, पीयूष धनवार और प्रभु खड़िया सहित कई प्रमुख लोग कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए।

इस आयोजन के माध्यम से शहीद तेलंगा खड़िया के बलिदान और उनके योगदान को याद करते हुए समाज में जागरूकता लाने का संकल्प लिया गया।
