वीर शहीद तेलंगा खड़िया का 219वां शहादत दिवस श्रद्धा और सम्मान के साथ मनाया गया

गुमला, झारखंड – गुमला जिले के सिसई प्रखंड स्थित वीर शहीद तेलंगा खड़िया पुस्तकालय में रविवार को स्वतंत्रता सेनानी वीर शहीद तेलंगा खड़िया का 219वां शहादत दिवस श्रद्धा और सम्मान के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर पुस्तकालय के पदाधिकारी, समाजसेवी और छात्र-छात्राओं ने वीर शहीद के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण कर उन्हें भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।

तेलंगा खड़िया का बलिदान स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में रहा अमूल्य

समारोह में समाजसेवी रोहित शर्मा ने वीर शहीद तेलंगा खड़िया के जीवन पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि वे भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के महान योद्धा थे। उनका जन्म 9 फरवरी 1806 को गुमला जिले के सिसई प्रखंड के मुरगू गांव में हुआ था।

उन्होंने बताया कि तेलंगा खड़िया ने अंग्रेजों के अन्याय और शोषण के खिलाफ आवाज उठाई और ‘जुरी पंचायत’ का गठन कर ब्रिटिश शासन के खिलाफ संघर्ष छेड़ा। उन्होंने अंग्रेजों को कड़ी चुनौती दी और उनके अत्याचारों का डटकर विरोध किया।

देशद्रोह के कारण मिली शहादत

इतिहास में दर्ज घटनाओं के अनुसार, तेलंगा खड़िया को 23 अप्रैल 1880 को सरना पूजा स्थल पर धोखे से गोली मारकर शहीद कर दिया गया था। यह कायरतापूर्ण हत्या एक देशद्रोही बोधन सिंह द्वारा की गई थी, जिसने महज चार हजार रुपये के लालच में अंग्रेजों से मिलकर उनकी हत्या करवा दी थी।

तेलंगा खड़िया के बलिदान ने उन्हें इतिहास में स्वर्ण अक्षरों में अमर कर दिया। वे केवल एक योद्धा ही नहीं, बल्कि जनता के अधिकारों और न्याय की लड़ाई लड़ने वाले एक महान नेता भी थे। अंग्रेजों द्वारा किए गए शोषण, मालगुजारी वसूली और अत्याचार के खिलाफ उन्होंने जो संघर्ष किया, उसके कारण वे जनता के बीच भगवान समान पूजे जाने लगे।

समारोह में मौजूद रहे गणमान्य लोग

शहादत दिवस के अवसर पर पुस्तकालय के अध्यक्ष अघनू खड़िया, सचिव दीपक कुमार अधिकारी, समाजसेवी रोहित शर्मा, विराज उराँव, लाइब्रेरियन सलोनी कुमारी, विकास सोनी, शिखा कुमारी सहित कई छात्र-छात्राएं उपस्थित रहे।

सभी ने एक स्वर में वीर शहीद तेलंगा खड़िया के संघर्ष और बलिदान को याद करते हुए कहा कि उनका योगदान इतिहास में अमिट रहेगा और आने वाली पीढ़ियों को प्रेरणा देता रहेगा।
