द इंडियन एक्सप्रेस ने वाटर बॉडीज में गिरिडीह में किए गए विकासात्मक कार्यों की सराहना की, केंद्रीय राज्य मंत्री ने गिरिडीह जिले को किया सम्मानित

गिरिडीह : गिरिडीह जिला को वाटर बॉडीज में उत्कृष्ट कार्य हेतु द इंडियन एक्सप्रेस एक्सीलेंस इन गवर्नेंस अवार्ड्स के लिए चुना गया है। द इंडियन एक्सप्रेस द्वारा आयोजित एक्सीलेंस इन गवर्नेंस अवार्ड्स समारोह में पिछले दो वर्षों में वाटर बॉडीज में किए गए अनुकरणीय कार्यों के लिए देश भर के विभिन्न जिलों को आवेदन आमंत्रित किया गया था, जिसके आलोक में 450 से अधिक आवेदन प्राप्त हुए थे, जिनमें से देशभर के 16 जिलों को विभिन्न श्रेणियों में पुरस्कृत किया गया।

पुरस्कारों का निर्णय राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्यक आयोग के पूर्व अध्यक्ष वजाहत हबीबुल्लाह की अध्यक्षता वाली प्रतिष्ठित जूरी द्वारा कई दौर के मूल्यांकन और सत्यापन की कठोर प्रक्रिया के बाद किया गया। द इंडियन एक्सप्रेस के अनुसार गिरिडीह जिले ने अपने लोगों के जीवन को बेहतर बनाने की दिशा में सार्थक प्रयास किए है.

जल श्रेणी में गिरिडीह जिला ने पूरी पारदर्शिता और प्रतिबद्धता के साथ दायित्व निर्वहन किया है। वाटर बॉडीज के जरिए जनता को पानी के महत्व के बारे में जागरूक करना और उन्हें सर्वोत्तम जल उपयोग तौर-तरीकों को अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित करना है।

द इंडियन एक्सप्रेस ने गिरिडीह जिला के कार्यों की सराहना करते हुए शुभकामनाएं दी। कार्यक्रम में शामिल केंद्रीय राज्य मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी ने गिरिडीह जिले को सम्मानित किया और बधाई दी।

गौरतलब है कि नीति आयोग विंडो-ii के अंतर्गत वाटर बॉडी रिजुवनेशन का कार्य झारखंड राज्य में सबसे पहले गिरिडीह जिला में पानी पंचायत का गठन करके शुरू किया गया। जिसके अंतर्गत 67 मॉड्यूल का रिजुवनेशन का कार्य किया गया।

पानी पंचायत के जरिए तालाबों को बचाने और रोजगार के अवसर पैदा करने का लाभ मिला

इस दौरान कार्य की गुणवत्ता का विशेष ध्यान रखा गया। जिसमें स्थानीय ग्रामीणों की सहूलियत को ध्यान में रखते हुए तालाबों का जीर्णोद्धार, जल संचयन आदि विषयों पर बेहतर कार्य करने के प्रयास किए गए, ताकि ज्यादा से ज्यादा संख्या में स्थानीय ग्रामीणों को जल की समस्या से निजात दिलाई जा सकें। इसके साथ ही जल निकायों में जल का संग्रह भी किया गया। जिससे लोगों को आम बागवानी, बिरसा हरित ग्राम योजना के तहत पौधरोपण आदि जैसे कार्यों को करने में लाभ मिला।

पानी पंचायत के माध्यम से तालाबों को बचाने और उनके माध्यम से रोजगार के अवसर पैदा करने में लाभ मिला। इससे स्थानीय किसानों को खासा लाभ मिला, किसान न केवल तालाब के पानी से अपने अनाज की फसलों की सिंचाई कर रहे हैं, बल्कि सब्जियां भी उगा रहे हैं।
