गुमला: सदर थाना क्षेत्र के टोटाम्बी केऊंद टोली के पास सोमवार शाम करीब 7 बजे एक दर्दनाक सड़क दुर्घटना में 68 वर्षीय महिला अघनी देवी की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि बाइक सवार टुनटुन उरांव, निवासी घाघरा शिवराजपुर गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया।
कैसे हुई दुर्घटना?
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, टुनटुन उरांव एक युवक को टोटो पहुंचाने के लिए बाइक से जा रहा था। इसी दौरान, अघनी देवी, जो सुबह अपने घर से घाघरा बाजार जाने के लिए निकली थीं, सड़क पार कर रही थीं। अचानक तेज रफ्तार बाइक ने उन्हें टक्कर मार दी, जिससे घटनास्थल पर ही उनकी मौत हो गई।
स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया
दुर्घटना के बाद स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से पुलिस ने घायल बाइक सवार और महिला को गुमला सदर अस्पताल पहुंचाया। डॉक्टरों ने जांच के बाद महिला को मृत घोषित कर दिया, जबकि घायल युवक का इलाज जारी है।
पोस्टमार्टम के बाद परिजनों को सौंपा गया शव
मंगलवार दोपहर करीब 12 बजे पुलिस ने महिला के शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल स्थित पोस्टमार्टम हाउस भेजा। आवश्यक प्रक्रिया पूरी करने के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।
पुलिस कर रही मामले की जांच
गुमला पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है और दुर्घटना के कारणों का पता लगाया जा रहा है। स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, अंधेरा होने और तेज गति के कारण हादसा हुआ। पुलिस ने सभी को सतर्क रहने और यातायात नियमों का पालन करने की अपील की है।
