गुमला में सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच अभियान ने पकड़ी रफ्तार, अब तक 7.5 लाख से अधिक लोगों की हुई स्क्रीनिंग

गुमला, 26 मई 2025 — झारखंड के गुमला जिले में सिकल सेल एनीमिया की रोकथाम और पहचान के लिए चलाए जा रहे विशेष अभियान के तहत अब तक 7,58,279 लोगों की जांच पूरी की जा चुकी है, जबकि कुल लक्षित जनसंख्या 8,51,054 है। यह आंकड़ा 26 मई 2025 तक का है।

अब तक की जांच में सामने आए अहम आंकड़े:

• सिकल सेल रोग से पीड़ित पाए गए: 456 व्यक्ति
• सिकल सेल ट्रेट (वाहक) के रूप में चिन्हित: 1,891 व्यक्ति
• जांच में अपुष्ट मामले: 1,740 व्यक्ति

स्वास्थ्य विभाग की अपील: जांच अवश्य कराएं

स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने जिले के सभी नागरिकों से अपील की है कि यदि किसी की अब तक जांच नहीं हुई है, तो वे अपने नजदीकी स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में जाकर नि:शुल्क जांच जरूर करवाएं। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि जल्दी पहचान से बीमारी को नियंत्रित करना और इलाज शुरू करना संभव है, जिससे लोगों के जीवन की गुणवत्ता बेहतर हो सकती है।

सिकल सेल एनीमिया एक आनुवंशिक रक्त विकार है, जो झारखंड के आदिवासी क्षेत्रों में व्यापक रूप से पाया जाता है। ऐसे में इस बीमारी की पहचान और रोकथाम को लेकर सरकार एवं जिला प्रशासन विशेष रूप से सजग है।

स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा जिले में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए स्वास्थ्य शिविर, प्रचार-प्रसार और सामुदायिक स्तर पर जानकारी साझा करने के प्रयास लगातार किए जा रहे हैं।
