गुमला में नए पुलिस अधीक्षक ने संभाला कार्यभार, नक्सल और अपराध के खिलाफ सख्त रुख का ऐलान

गुमला — झारखंड के गुमला जिले में नवनियुक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक (एसपी) हरिश बिन जामां ने सोमवार को औपचारिक रूप से अपना कार्यभार ग्रहण किया। इस अवसर पर पूर्व पुलिस अधीक्षक शंभू कुमार सिंह ने उन्हें पुष्पगुच्छ भेंट कर स्वागत किया और औपचारिक रूप से पदभार सौंपा।

पदभार ग्रहण के बाद एसपी हरिश बिन जामां ने संवाददाताओं से बातचीत करते हुए कहा कि उनका मुख्य उद्देश्य जिले में कानून-व्यवस्था को सुदृढ़ करना, नक्सलवाद का समूल नाश, अपराध पर अंकुश और नशे के कारोबार को समाप्त करना है। उन्होंने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि पुलिसिंग केवल कार्यालय में बैठकर नहीं, बल्कि जनसंपर्क और जमीनी स्तर पर कार्य के माध्यम से होगी।

“स्वतंत्र और जवाबदेह पुलिसिंग” पर जोर

नए एसपी ने कहा, “मेरा प्रयास रहेगा कि आम नागरिक को न्याय मिले, और पुलिस की छवि एक जनहितैषी और जवाबदेह संस्था के रूप में स्थापित हो।” उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि नक्सलवाद, जो इस जिले की प्रमुख समस्या रहा है, उसके खात्मे के लिए लगातार अभियान चलाए जाएंगे और किसी भी हाल में नक्सलियों को फिर से सिर उठाने का मौका नहीं दिया जाएगा।

अंधविश्वास और नशे के खिलाफ कड़ा संदेश

हरिश बिन जामां ने कहा कि अंधविश्वास से जुड़ी घटनाओं और कुप्रथाओं पर सख्ती से कार्रवाई की जाएगी। इसके साथ ही नशे के अवैध व्यापार में लिप्त लोगों के खिलाफ कड़ी कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा, “नशा अपराध की जननी है, इसलिए इससे जुड़े किसी भी व्यक्ति को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।”

सभी थाना क्षेत्रों के पुलिसकर्मी रहे मौजूद

कार्यभार ग्रहण समारोह में जिले के विभिन्न थाना क्षेत्रों से पुलिस पदाधिकारी और कर्मी उपस्थित रहे। उन्होंने नए पुलिस कप्तान के साथ समन्वय बनाकर जिले में शांति व्यवस्था कायम रखने की प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई।

हरिश बिन जामां की नियुक्ति ऐसे समय में हुई है जब गुमला जिला नक्सली गतिविधियों और सामाजिक कुरीतियों से उबरने की दिशा में प्रयासरत है। उनके नेतृत्व में पुलिस प्रशासन से लोगों को कड़े लेकिन संवेदनशील प्रशासन की उम्मीद है।
