गुमला, 6 जून 2025 — विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर गुमला समाहरणालय परिसर में उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण की अपील करते हुए पीपल, आम, नीम और मौलश्री जैसे पौधे रोपे। इस मौके पर उन्होंने नागरिकों से प्रकृति के प्रति संवेदनशील बनने और हरियाली बढ़ाने का आग्रह किया।
इस वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम के तहत कुल 108 पौधे लगाए गए, जिसमें डीसी कार्यालय के अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों और विभिन्न संगठनों के प्रतिनिधियों ने भी बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा लिया।
उपायुक्त दीक्षित ने कहा, “वृक्षों का महत्व केवल पर्यावरण शुद्धि तक सीमित नहीं है, ये जैव विविधता को संरक्षित रखने और पक्षियों के प्राकृतिक आवास बनाए रखने में भी सहायक होते हैं।” उन्होंने लोगों से अपील की कि वे अपने घर और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में कम से कम 5 पौधे अवश्य लगाएं, विशेषकर पाकर, डूमर, गूलर, पीपल और मौलश्री जैसे देसी प्रजातियों को प्राथमिकता दें।
डीसी ने इस अवसर पर यह भी रेखांकित किया कि “पर्यावरण की रक्षा केवल सरकारी प्रयासों से संभव नहीं, इसके लिए समाज के प्रत्येक व्यक्ति की भागीदारी जरूरी है। वृक्षारोपण एक सामूहिक दायित्व है जिसे हम सभी को निभाना चाहिए।”
पर्यावरण जागरूकता को लेकर गुमला प्रशासन की यह पहल न केवल प्रतीकात्मक रही, बल्कि इससे जिलेवासियों को हरियाली के महत्व का भी सार्थक संदेश मिला। कार्यक्रम में सहभागियों ने वृक्षों की देखभाल और नियमित सिंचाई का भी संकल्प लिया।
यह आयोजन गुमला को एक हरित और टिकाऊ भविष्य की ओर ले जाने के संकल्प का जीवंत उदाहरण बना।
