गुमला में अंतरराज्यीय ब्राउन शुगर तस्कर गिरफ्तार, पुलिस ने 14 पुड़िया मादक पदार्थ और बाइक जब्त की

गुमला, झारखंड — गुमला पुलिस ने एक अंतरराज्यीय ब्राउन शुगर तस्कर को गिरफ्तार करते हुए उसके पास से तीन ग्राम ब्राउन शुगर की 14 पुड़िया और एक यामाहा बाइक बरामद की है। आरोपी को गुमला जेल भेज दिया गया है। यह कार्रवाई चैनपुर अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी (एसडीपीओ) ललित मीणा के नेतृत्व में की गई।

गुप्त सूचना पर बॉर्डर पर लगाई गई थी चेकिंग, पुलिस ने पीछा कर पकड़ा

प्रेस वार्ता में एसडीपीओ ललित मीणा ने जानकारी दी कि गुमला पुलिस अधीक्षक हारिश बिन जामां को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि छत्तीसगढ़ के जशपुर जिले के लोदाम गांव से एक व्यक्ति यामाहा मोटरसाइकिल से झारखंड की ओर मादक पदार्थ लेकर आ रहा है। इस इनपुट पर त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए एक छापामारी दल का गठन किया गया।

इस टीम में पुलिस निरीक्षक जितेंद्र राम, रायडीह थाना प्रभारी कुंदन कुमार सिंह, सहायक निरीक्षक विनय कुमार साव, सुनील रविदास और सशस्त्र बल के जवान कौशल कुमार सिंह, दीपक कुमार प्रमाणिक समेत कई अधिकारी शामिल थे।

टीम ने रायडीह थाना क्षेत्र के मांझाटोली गांव के समीप झारखंड-छत्तीसगढ़ बॉर्डर पर वाहन चेकिंग अभियान शुरू किया। इसी दौरान यामाहा बाइक सवार एक युवक पुलिस को देखकर भागने लगा, जिसे बैरियर बगीचा के पास जवानों ने पीछा कर पकड़ लिया।

आरोपी शेर खान उर्फ शेरू गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र का निवासी

गिरफ्तार आरोपी की पहचान शेर खान उर्फ शेरू, निवासी कतरी गांव, गुमला के रूप में की गई है। उसकी तलाशी लेने पर उसकी पैंट की दाहिनी जेब से 14 पुड़िया (तीन ग्राम) ब्राउन शुगर बरामद हुई। पुलिस ने उसकी बाइक भी जब्त कर ली है।

पूछताछ में किए अहम खुलासे, सहयोगियों के नाम भी बताए

पुलिस की पूछताछ में शेर खान ने ब्राउन शुगर की तस्करी की बात स्वीकार की है। साथ ही उसने अपने सहयोगियों के नाम, पते और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण जानकारियाँ भी पुलिस को सौंपी हैं, जिन्हें गोपनीय रखा गया है। पुलिस अब उन सूचनाओं के आधार पर संभावित ठिकानों पर छापेमारी अभियान चला रही है।

न्यायिक हिरासत में भेजा गया जेल

गिरफ्तार तस्कर को मीडिया और न्यायालय के समक्ष प्रस्तुत करने के बाद न्यायिक हिरासत में भेजकर गुमला जेल भेज दिया गया। पुलिस अधीक्षक हारिश बिन जामां के निर्देश पर की गई इस कार्रवाई को एक बड़ी कामयाबी माना जा रहा है।

गुमला पुलिस ने स्पष्ट किया है कि जिले में मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी के खिलाफ अभियान लगातार जारी रहेगा और ऐसे अपराधियों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
