गुमला : विश्व रक्तदाता दिवस पर उपायुक्त द्वारा रक्तदान कर जनजागरूकता का दिया संदेश

गुमला उपयुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने स्वयं रक्तदान शिविर में पहूंचकर किया अपना रक्तदान

गुमला : – विश्व रक्तदाता दिवस के अवसर पर शनिवार को सदर अस्पताल गुमला परिसर में स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा एक दिवसीय रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर उपायुक्त गुमला प्रेरणा दीक्षित स्वयं उक्त शिविर में उपस्थित होकर रक्तदान किया और नागरिकों को इस पुनीत कार्य में भागीदारी हेतु प्रेरित किया।

उपायुक्त गुमला ने अपने संदेश में कहा कि रक्तदान से बड़ा कोई दान नहीं – “रक्तदान, महादान” है। इससे हम थैलेसीमिया, सिकल सेल एनीमिया जैसे गंभीर रोगों से पीड़ित मरीजों का जीवन बचा सकते हैं।” उन्होंने बताया कि गुमला जिले में इन रोगों से पीड़ित मरीजों की संख्या काफी अधिक है, अतः ब्लड बैंक में रक्त की नियमित उपलब्धता अत्यंत आवश्यक है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रेग्नेंट महिलाओं को भी आपात स्थिति में रक्त की आवश्यकता पड़ सकती है, ऐसे में समाज के प्रत्येक नागरिक की यह नैतिक जिम्मेदारी है कि समय-समय पर आयोजित रक्तदान शिविरों में सहभागिता सुनिश्चित करें।

उपायुक्त गुमला ने विशेष रूप से O-, A-, B- जैसे दुर्लभ रक्त समूह वाले व्यक्तियों से अपील की कि वे आगे आकर रक्तदान करें। उन्होंने कहा कि “रक्तदान से कोई कमजोरी या चक्कर नहीं आता, बल्कि इससे शरीर और भी स्वस्थ रहता है। इस मिथक को तोड़ने के लिए मैं स्वयं आज रक्तदान कर रही हूं। आप सभी भी आगे आएं और रक्तदान कर गंभीर रोगियों को जीवनदान दें।”

उन्होंने जिले के समस्त अधिकारियों एवं कर्मियों से भी अपील की कि वे इस पुनीत कार्य में आगे आकर योगदान दें।

इस अवसर पर सिविल सर्जन गुमला, स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारी-कर्मी तथा बड़ी संख्या में स्थानीय नागरिक उपस्थित रहे।
