गुमला में विश्व बुजुर्ग दुर्व्यवहार जागरूकता दिवस पर विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण ने किया विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन

गुमला — विश्व बुजुर्ग दुर्व्यवहार जागरूकता दिवस के अवसर पर गुमला जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण (डालसा) द्वारा जिले भर में जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया। यह आयोजन प्रधान जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश सह अध्यक्ष डालसा, श्री ध्रुव चंद्र मिश्र के मार्गदर्शन में किया गया, जिसमें विधिक सेवाओं की पहुंच और बुजुर्गों की देखभाल को लेकर विशेष जोर दिया गया।

इस कड़ी में ओल्ड एज होम, गुमला में एक प्रमुख कार्यक्रम आयोजित हुआ, जहां बुजुर्गों के बीच चिकित्सा शिविर लगाया गया। इस दौरान बुजुर्गों की स्वास्थ्य जांच कर उन्हें आवश्यक दवाएं वितरित की गईं। साथ ही डालसा टीम द्वारा मिठाई, ओआरएस और बिस्किट भी बांटे गए।

कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधान जिला न्यायाधीश ने कहा कि 15 जून को मनाया जाने वाला यह दिन वृद्धजनों के सम्मान और उनके साथ होने वाले दुर्व्यवहार के विरुद्ध जागरूकता लाने का वैश्विक प्रयास है। उन्होंने कहा, “आज के समय में जैसे-जैसे बच्चे बड़े होते हैं, वे अपने माता-पिता से दूरी बना लेते हैं, जिससे पारिवारिक संरचना टूटने लगती है। जबकि बुजुर्ग ही परिवार की भावनात्मक नींव होते हैं।”

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के अधिकारों की रक्षा के लिए “वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के भरण-पोषण और कल्याण अधिनियम” जैसे कानून लागू किए गए हैं, और सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने भी इस दिशा में कई अहम निर्णय दिए हैं। उन्होंने लोगों से अपील की कि किसी भी प्रकार की सहायता के लिए जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण से संपर्क करें।

एडीजे द्वितीय श्री मनोज शर्मा ने ओल्ड एज होम की व्यवस्थाओं की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि, “सरकार ने बुजुर्गों के लिए उचित व्यवस्था की है और किसी भी कठिनाई की स्थिति में डालसा मदद के लिए सदैव तत्पर है।”

डालसा के सचिव राम कुमार लाल गुप्ता ने बताया कि वे नियमित रूप से वृद्धाश्रम आते हैं और बुजुर्गों की समस्याएं सुनकर उन्हें हल करने का प्रयास करते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि वे आगे भी बुजुर्गों की सेवा में तत्पर रहेंगे।

इस अवसर पर सभा को रजिस्ट्रार प्रतीक राज, एलएडीसी प्रमुख डी.एन. ओहदार, और वुंदेश्वर गोप ने भी संबोधित किया। सभा का संचालन स्थायी लोक अदालत सदस्य शंभू सिंह ने किया।

कार्यक्रम में प्रकाश पांडे, तेतरु उरांव, जितेंद्र सिंह (एलएडीसी), इंदु पांडे, संस्था सचिव रिजॉयस एरिक, वार्डन ज्योति प्रमिला केरकेट्टा सहित कई गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित रहे।

इसके अतिरिक्त, हर माह की तरह इस बार भी मंडल कारा, गुमला में जेल अदालत सह जागरूकता शिविर का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें न्यायिक पदाधिकारीगण शामिल हुए और बंदियों को विधिक जानकारी उपलब्ध कराई गई।

यह कार्यक्रम वृद्धजनों की गरिमा, अधिकार और उनके साथ हो रहे दुर्व्यवहार के विरुद्ध समाज में जागरूकता फैलाने की दिशा में एक प्रभावशाली पहल रहा।
