गुमला के करमडीपा चौक में वाहन चेकिंग के दौरान सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता अभियान, ड्राइवरों को किया गया सतर्क

गुमला : गुमला जिला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देशानुसार गुमला जिले में सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता अभियान के अंतर्गत करमडीपा चौक, गुमला-सिसई मार्ग पर मोटरसाइकिल चालकों के लिए विशेष अभियान चलाया गया। इस अभियान का संचालन मोटरयान निरीक्षक रॉबिन अजय सिंह के नेतृत्व में सड़क सुरक्षा प्रबंधक कुमार प्रभाष एवं जिला प्रशासन की टीम द्वारा किया गया।

वाहन चेकिंग के दौरान कुल 52 दोपहिया वाहन चालकों को रोका गया और उन्हें सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों के प्रति जागरूक किया गया। सड़क पर यातायात नियमों के पालन, हेलमेट एवं सीट बेल्ट के अनिवार्य उपयोग, दुर्घटना की आशंका से बचाव तथा सुरक्षित ड्राइविंग व्यवहार से संबंधित मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया गया।

इस अवसर पर ‘हिट एंड रन’ एवं ‘गुड समेरिटन’ (Good Samaritan) योजना की जानकारी भी दी गई। उपस्थित चालकों को बताया गया कि यदि कोई व्यक्ति सड़क दुर्घटना में घायल व्यक्ति को गोल्डन ऑवर (दुर्घटना के एक घंटे के भीतर) अस्पताल पहुंचाता है, तो उसे सरकार की ओर से ₹2,000/- की प्रोत्साहन राशि एवं प्रशस्ति पत्र प्रदान किया जाएगा। इसके लिए अस्पताल में मदद करने वाले व्यक्ति का नाम दर्ज होना अनिवार्य होगा।

अभियान के दौरान यह भी स्पष्ट किया गया कि किसी अज्ञात वाहन द्वारा दुर्घटना (हिट एंड रन) की स्थिति में सरकार द्वारा मृतक के परिजनों को ₹2,00,000/- और गंभीर रूप से घायल व्यक्ति को ₹50,000/- की सहायता राशि प्रदान करने का प्रावधान है।

जागरूकता अभियान के दौरान चालकों को सड़क सुरक्षा से संबंधित पुस्तिकाएं एवं पंपलेट वितरित किए गए। अभियान का उद्देश्य न केवल नियम उल्लंघन करने वालों को सतर्क करना था, बल्कि नागरिकों में स्वेच्छा से सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों के पालन की भावना जागृत करना भी रहा।

इस अभियान में प्रमुख रूप से मोटरयान निरीक्षक रॉबिन अजय सिंह, सड़क सुरक्षा प्रबंधक कुमार प्रभाष, एवं सूचना एवं जनसम्पर्क विभाग के प्रतिनिधियों की सक्रिय सहभागिता रही।

जिला प्रशासन द्वारा आमजन से अपील की गई है कि वे सड़क पर सुरक्षित और जिम्मेदार व्यवहार अपनाएं तथा किसी भी दुर्घटना की स्थिति में मानवता के आधार पर पीड़ितों की मदद कर समाज के लिए उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करें।
