गुमला में शुरुआती बारिश ने खोली व्यवस्थाओं की पोल, आमजन बेहाल – किसान और व्यापारी दो ध्रुवों पर

गुमला जिले में लगातार हो रही मूसलाधार बारिश ने जहाँ किसानों के चेहरों पर खुशी ला दी है, वहीं आम जनजीवन को पूरी तरह अस्त-व्यस्त कर दिया है। जिला मुख्यालय से लेकर ग्रामीण इलाकों तक मौसम की बेरुखी ने लोगों के कामकाज, रोजगार और दैनिक जीवन को प्रभावित कर दिया है।

एक तरफ खुशहाल किसान, दूसरी तरफ संकटग्रस्त व्यापारी और दिहाड़ी मजदूर

शुरुआती बारिश ने खेतों में हरियाली जरूर ला दी, जिससे कई किसान खेती की तैयारियों में जुट गए हैं। लेकिन वहीं तालाबों, जलाशयों और नदी किनारे रहने वाले किसानों के लिए यह बारिश आफत बन गई है। जलस्तर इतना बढ़ गया है कि खेत डूब गए हैं और सब्जी उत्पादन की संभावनाएं प्रभावित हुई हैं।

इसके इतर छोटे व्यापारी, फुटपाथ दुकानदार, चाय-नाश्ता विक्रेता, ई-रिक्शा और ठेला चालकों के लिए बारिश रोज़ी-रोटी का संकट बनकर आई है। लगातार भीगती गलियों और सूनसान सड़कों ने जैसे उनके रोजगार पर ताला जड़ दिया हो। जीवन की गाड़ी थम-सी गई है।

जिला मुख्यालय की स्थिति चिंताजनक

गुमला नगर परिषद क्षेत्र के अधिकांश वार्डों में सड़कों की हालत बदतर हो चुकी है। जगह-जगह गड्ढे, जलजमाव, टूटी नालियां और कूड़े के ढेर से उठती दुर्गंध ने नागरिकों का जीना मुश्किल कर दिया है। मेन रोड, लोहरदगा रोड, सिसई रोड, जशपुर रोड जैसे व्यस्त मार्गों पर आए दिन हादसे हो रहे हैं।

शाम ढलते ही अंधेरे में डूबे चौक-चौराहों पर आवारा पशुओं और खतरनाक कुत्तों का आतंक शुरू हो जाता है, जिससे राहगीर डर के मारे रास्ता बदलने को विवश हैं।

पेयजल संकट और प्रशासनिक सुस्ती

शहर में पेयजल आपूर्ति की स्थिति भी चिंताजनक है। “नल है, पर जल नहीं” की कहावत यहां चरितार्थ हो रही है। बीते तीन-चार दिनों से पेयजल आपूर्ति पूरी तरह ठप है और संबंधित विभाग की निष्क्रियता पर लोगों में रोष है।

प्रशासन से जवाबदारी निभाने की अपील

वज्रपात, सर्पदंश और डूबने से हो रही मौतों की घटनाओं में वृद्धि ने चिंता को और गहरा कर दिया है। ऐसे में जिले की आम जनता अब केन्द्र, राज्य और जिला प्रशासन से शीघ्र ठोस कदम उठाने की अपेक्षा कर रही है। लोग सवाल कर रहे हैं — “अगर यह सिर्फ शुरुआत है, तो पूरी बरसात कैसी होगी?”
