गुमला, झारखंड — रविवार देर शाम गुमला जिले में तेज आंधी और बारिश के बीच एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसे में 18 वर्षीय युवक की जान चली गई। युवक की बाइक एक गिरे हुए पेड़ से टकरा गई, जिससे उसकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।
घटना गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र के बासुआ पतराटोली गांव की है। मृतक कर्मचंद उरांव रविवार शाम लगभग 7 बजे अपने ससुराल खरका गांव से बाइक से घर लौट रहा था। लौटने के दौरान मौसम अचानक बिगड़ गया और तेज हवा व बारिश के कारण एक बड़ा पेड़ उखड़कर बीच सड़क पर गिर गया।
तेज रफ्तार में बाइक चला रहे कर्मचंद को अंधेरे और बारिश की वजह से सड़क पर गिरा पेड़ नजर नहीं आया, जिससे उसकी बाइक सीधा पेड़ से जा टकराई। टक्कर इतनी जबरदस्त थी कि युवक को सिर, चेहरा और शरीर के कई हिस्सों में गंभीर चोटें आईं और उसने मौके पर ही दम तोड़ दिया।
हालांकि परिजन उसे तुरंत गुमला सदर अस्पताल ले गए, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। हादसे की जानकारी मिलते ही गुमला सदर थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची, परिजनों से पूछताछ की और शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया।
सोमवार को पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया। पुलिस ने इस हादसे की जांच शुरू कर दी है और संबंधित तथ्यों की छानबीन जारी है।
प्रशासन ने नागरिकों से अपील की है कि अप्रत्याशित मौसम में वाहन चलाते समय विशेष सतर्कता बरतें, ताकि ऐसी दुखद घटनाओं से बचा जा सके।
