गुमला में ब्राउन शुगर की तस्करी का पर्दाफाश, चार तस्कर गिरफ्तार

गुमला, झारखंड: गुमला पुलिस को एक बड़ी सफलता हाथ लगी है। प्रतिबंधित मादक पदार्थ ब्राउन शुगर की अवैध खरीद-बिक्री में शामिल चार युवकों को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया है। यह कार्रवाई एसडीपीओ सुरेश प्रसाद यादव के नेतृत्व में गठित विशेष छापामारी दल ने की। पुलिस ने आरोपियों के पास से ब्राउन शुगर, कैश, मोबाइल फोन और वेट मशीन भी बरामद की है।

लक्ष्मण नगर से शुरू हुई कार्रवाई

एसडीपीओ सुरेश प्रसाद यादव ने अपने कार्यालय में आयोजित एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में बताया कि पुलिस अधीक्षक हारिश बिन जामां के निर्देश पर जिले में मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी रोकने के लिए विशेष छापामारी दल का गठन किया गया है। इसी क्रम में उन्हें गुप्त सूचना मिली कि गुमला मुख्यालय स्थित लक्ष्मण नगर में ब्राउन शुगर की खरीद-बिक्री हो रही है।

सूचना की पुष्टि होते ही छापामारी दल ने लक्ष्मण नगर में 21 वर्षीय आकाश राज उर्फ आकाश पासवान (पिता – आलोक पासवान) को गिरफ्तार किया, जिसके पास से 10 ग्राम ब्राउन शुगर बरामद हुआ।

निशानदेही पर एक के बाद एक गिरफ्तारी

आकाश की निशानदेही पर पुलिस ने गुमला नगर के बैरागी बागान चाहा ग्राम निवासी 33 वर्षीय बादल साहू (पिता – भुनेश्वर साहू) को पकड़ा। उससे मिली जानकारी के आधार पर 25 वर्षीय छोटू साहू उर्फ जागेश्वर साहू (पिता – जगमोहन साहू) को गिरफ्तार किया गया। छोटू साहू के पास से 35,700 रुपये नकद, दो मोबाइल फोन, 12 ग्राम ब्राउन शुगर (07 पुड़िया) और वेट मशीन बरामद की गई।

इसके बाद पुलिस ने 32 वर्षीय मिन्नत कुमार (पिता – ब्रिजवल चौधरी) के घर पर छापा मारा और वहां से 10 ग्राम ब्राउन शुगर, एक वेट मशीन और दस लाख 13, 000 हजार रूपया बरामद किया गया है ।

न्यायिक हिरासत में भेजे गए आरोपी

चारों आरोपियों को आवश्यक कानूनी कार्रवाई के बाद मीडिया और न्यायालय के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया गया, जहां से उन्हें न्यायिक हिरासत में गुमला जेल भेज दिया गया।

छापामारी टीम में पुलिस उपाधीक्षक (प्रशिक्षण) शिव शंकर मरांडी, गुमला थाना प्रभारी महेंद्र कुमार करमाली, पुअनि हिमांशु शेखर सिंह, सअनि सुनील कुमार, सअनि हेमा देवी सहित पुलिस बल के अन्य सदस्य शामिल थे।
