गुमला :- गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देशानुसार गुमला जिले में स्टॉप डायरिया कैंपेन के अंतर्गत जिले के विभिन्न विद्यालयों में व्यापक जन-जागरूकता गतिविधियाँ प्रारंभ की गई हैं। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य बच्चों में स्वच्छता, शुद्ध जल, पोषण और हाथ धोने की आदत को बढ़ावा देकर डायरिया जैसी बीमारियों की रोकथाम सुनिश्चित करना है।
स्कूल स्तर पर आयोजित गतिविधियों में प्रार्थना सभा के दौरान “स्वच्छ हाथ, सुरक्षित जीवन”, “डायरिया से बचाव” और “शुद्ध जल का महत्व” जैसे विषयों पर जानकारी दी गई। बच्चों को साबुन से सही ढंग से हाथ धोने की विधि सिखाई गई तथा मिड-डे मील से पूर्व सामूहिक रूप से हाथ धोने का अभ्यास कराया गया।
जिले के विभिन्न प्रखंडों में रैलियों एवं पोस्टर-बैनर के माध्यम से सामुदायिक स्तर पर भी जन-जागरूकता फैलाई जा रही है। “स्वच्छता ही सुरक्षा है” के संदेश के साथ बच्चों को पानी उबालने या फ़िल्टर कर उपयोग करने के महत्व को सरल एवं व्यवहारिक उदाहरणों द्वारा समझाया गया।
इस अवसर पर बच्चों से दैनिक स्वच्छता बनाए रखने की शपथ भी दिलाई गई। साथ ही “डायरिया से बचाव” विषय पर परिचर्चा आयोजित की गई जिसमें खुले में शौच न करने, साफ-सुथरा शौचालय उपयोग करने, पोषणयुक्त भोजन करने एवं स्वच्छ पानी पीने जैसी सावधानियों पर विशेष बल दिया गया।
इस अभियान के सफल क्रियान्वयन हेतु जिला प्रशासन, शिक्षा विभाग, स्वास्थ्य विभाग एवं समग्र शिक्षा अभियान के समन्वय से विद्यालयों में जागरूकता कार्यक्रम सतत रूप से जारी रहेंगे ।
