गुमला, 25 जुलाई 2025 — झुंड से बिछड़े एक क्रोधित हाथी के अचानक गांवों में प्रवेश से बिशुनपुर प्रखंड के ग्रामीण भयभीत हैं। शुक्रवार सुबह लगभग 7 बजे यह हाथी एक गांव में आ पहुंचा, लेकिन सतर्क ग्रामीणों ने उसे चालाकी से खदेड़कर जंगल की ओर लौटा दिया।
ग्रामीणों के मुताबिक यह हाथी पिछले तीन-चार दिनों से जंगल से निकल कर खेतों, सब्जीविदान और घरों के पास घुसता आ रहा है। उसने कई खेतों को रौंदा और फसलों को बर्बाद कर दिया। इस अवस्था के बीच ग्रामीणों ने हिम्मत दिखाकर उसे वापस वन क्षेत्र में भेजा, लेकिन डर है कि वह फिर से लौट सकता है।
ग्रामीणों की खामोश गुहार
ग्रामीणों ने वन विभाग से सवाल किया कि इस तरह के खतरनाक हाथी की जानकारी उन्हें क्यों नहीं मिली: “हाथी लगातार घूम रहा है, पर विभाग का कोई अता-पता नहीं।”
पीड़ितों ने मांग की है कि वन विभाग उन्हें उपयुक्त मुआवज़ा दे और संदेहास्पद हाथी को जंगल से दूर हटाकर सुरक्षित रखा जाए।
बेकाबू हाथी: गंभीर चिंता का विषय
इस समस्या को गंभीरता से लिया जाना चाहिए—यह हाथी अब जन सुरक्षा और संपत्ति के लिए थ्रेट बन गया है। यदि समय रहते कदम न उठाया गया, तो भविष्य में जान-माल का बड़ा नुकसान हो सकता है।
ग्रामीणों से अपील:
- वन विभाग को तुरंत इस हाथी की स्थिति का पता लगाकर कार्रवाई करनी चाहिए।
- प्रभावित परिवारों को न्यायसंगत मुआवज़ा प्रदान करके राहत दी जानी चाहिए।
- स्थानीय प्रशासन को वन सुरक्षा एवं पशु विमोचन प्रणाली को मजबूत करना चाहिए।
यह समस्या सिर्फ वन्यप्राणी का नहीं, बल्कि सामुदायिक सुरक्षा, प्रशासनिक तत्परता और ग्रामीण कल्याण की पहचान भी है।
