आकस्मिक वाहन जांच में जल्‍दबाजी मगर शिक्षाप्रद कार्रवाई: पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र में सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता अभियान सफल

गुमला, 26 जुलाई 2025 — उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित और पुलिस अधीक्षक हरीश बिन ज़मान के निर्देश पर पालकोट थाना क्षेत्र में एक विशेष मोटरसाइकिल चेकिंग अभियान के दौरान 25 वाहन चालकों को मुख्यतः हेलमेट और वाहन दस्तावेज़ न हो पाने पर जागरूक किया गया और आवश्यक चालान काटा गया।

गुमला परिवहन विभाग के मोटरयान निरीक्षक रॉबिन अजय सिंह और सड़क सुरक्षा प्रबंधक कुमार प्रभास के नेतृत्व में आयोजित इस अभियान का उद्देश्य नागरिकों को ट्रैफिक नियमों, हेलमेट व सीट बेल्ट उपयोग और नियमों का पालन करने के महत्व के प्रति जागरूक करना था।

कैसे संचालित हुआ जागरूकता अभियान:

• अभियान के दौरान सड़क सुरक्षा टीम ने प्रभावित चालकों से संवाद कर उन्हें हेलमेट पहनने और आवश्यक दस्तावेज़ साथ रखने जैसे मूलभूत संरक्षात्मक उपायों की जानकारी दी।
• ट्रैफिक नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले चालकों के पास जब कागजात नहीं पाए गए, तो विभाग द्वारा ₹17,000 का जुर्माना वसूला गया।
• जिले के मोटरयान निरीक्षक रॉबिन अजय सिंह ने बताया कि अभियान के दौरान कागजात ना रखने वाले 17 पुलिस चालान किए गए।
• सड़क सुरक्षा प्रबंधक कुमार प्रभास ने कहा कि ये काउंसलिंग इसलिए जरूरी थी ताकि लोगों को दुर्घटना से पहले बचाव का अहसास हो।

इस अभियान का उद्देश्य सिर्फ नियम तोड़ने वालों को दंडित करना नहीं था, बल्कि सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने और जीवन रक्षा हेतु जनमानस में नियमों के प्रति संवेदनशीलता जगाना था।

अभियान की मुख्य विशेषताएँ

जिला प्रशासन की अपील:
जिला प्रशासन नागरिकों से निवेदन करता है कि वे:

• हेलमेट, सीट बेल्ट, ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस एवं वाहन रजिस्ट्रेशन जैसे कागजात हमेशा साथ रखें।
• संदिग्ध कॉल अथवा ट्रैफिक उल्लंघन की सूचना नजदीकी थाना या हेल्पलाइन नंबर 1930 पर दें।
• सड़क सुरक्षा के नियमों का पालन करें तथा दूसरों को भी इसके लिए प्रेरित करें।

यह अभियान सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर संवेदनशीलता बढ़ाने की दिशा में प्रशासन की सक्रिय पहल को दर्शाता है और सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने की दिशा में एक सकारात्मक कदम साबित हो सकता है।
