हत्या की आशंका पर ग्रामीणों ने शव के साथ किया टावर चौक जाम, पुलिस पर लापरवाही का आरोप

गुमला: कसीरा गाँव की 28 वर्षीय महिला सीमा देवी की संदिग्ध मौत के बाद आक्रोशित ग्रामीणों ने सोमवार को गुमला टावर चौक पर शव के साथ प्रदर्शन करते हुए मुख्य सड़क को जाम कर दिया। ग्रामीणों ने आरोप लगाया कि सीमा देवी की हत्या की गई है और पुलिस अब तक कोई ठोस कार्रवाई नहीं कर रही है।

घटना गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत आती है। मृतका के शरीर पर गले, पैर और अन्य हिस्सों में गंभीर चोटों के निशान पाए गए हैं, जिससे मौत की परिस्थितियाँ संदिग्ध मानी जा रही हैं।

प्रदर्शन कर रहे लोगों के अनुसार, 11 मई को गांव के 4–5 लोगों द्वारा सीमा देवी के साथ मारपीट की गई थी। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि घटना की जानकारी स्थानीय पुलिस को समय पर दी गई, लेकिन उन्होंने मामले को गंभीरता से नहीं लिया। अब महिला की मौत के बाद स्थिति तनावपूर्ण हो गई है।

जाम के चलते शहर की मुख्य सड़क पर यातायात घंटों तक बाधित रहा और स्थानीय प्रशासन को हस्तक्षेप करना पड़ा। मौके पर पहुंचे अधिकारियों ने लोगों को समझाने का प्रयास किया और पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट के आधार पर उचित कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया।

ग्रामीणों की मांग:

• दोषियों की जल्द गिरफ्तारी
• पुलिस अधिकारियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई
• पीड़ित परिवार को मुआवजा

इस घटना ने जिले में कानून-व्यवस्था पर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं, खासकर तब जब ग्रामीण पहले ही पुलिस को घटना की सूचना दे चुके थे।

जिले के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों ने आश्वासन दिया है कि जांच प्रक्रिया में कोई कोताही नहीं बरती जाएगी और अगर किसी की लापरवाही सामने आती है, तो उस पर सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

जैसे-जैसे पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आएगी और जांच आगे बढ़ेगी, मामला और स्पष्ट हो सकेगा। फिलहाल, पीड़ित परिवार को न्याय दिलाने की माँग ज़ोर पकड़ रही है।
