गुप्त सूचना पर कार्रवाई: गुमला पुलिस ने 16.5 किलोग्राम गांजे के साथ दो तस्करों को दबोचा

गुमला जिले के घाघरा थाना क्षेत्र में मंगलवार की शाम एक बड़ी कार्रवाई के तहत पुलिस ने दो युवकों को 16.5 किलोग्राम अवैध गांजे के साथ गिरफ्तार किया। यह सफलता पुलिस को एक गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर वाहन जांच अभियान के दौरान मिली। दोनों आरोपी एक पल्सर मोटरसाइकिल पर सवार होकर गांजे की तस्करी कर रहे थे।

गुप्त सूचना के बाद पुलिस ने की कार्रवाई

घाघरा थाना प्रभारी पुनीत मिंज ने बताया कि उन्हें सूचना मिली थी कि सिसई से अरंगी की ओर दो युवक मोटरसाइकिल से भारी मात्रा में गांजा लेकर जा रहे हैं। इस इनपुट को पुलिस अधीक्षक हरिश बिन जामां को अवगत कराया गया। उनके दिशा-निर्देश पर थाना क्षेत्र के घोड़ाटांगर-बड़ा टंगरा मार्ग पर वाहन चेकिंग अभियान चलाया गया।

गांजा और मोटरसाइकिल जब्त

जांच के दौरान, जब पुलिस ने एक संदिग्ध पल्सर मोटरसाइकिल को रोका और पूछताछ की, तो उसमें लदे बोरे की तलाशी ली गई। तलाशी में लगभग 16.5 किलोग्राम अवैध गांजा बरामद हुआ। इसके बाद दोनों युवकों को गिरफ्तार कर थाने लाया गया, जहां उनसे गहराई से पूछताछ की गई।

आरोपी युवक छत्तीसगढ़ और लोहरदगा के निवासी

गिरफ्तार युवकों की पहचान विकास कुमार साहू (निवासी – लोदाम, जशपुर, छत्तीसगढ़) और मनीष साहू (निवासी – लोहरदगा, झारखंड) के रूप में हुई है। प्रारंभिक पूछताछ में आरोपियों ने स्वीकार किया कि वे गांजे की खरीद-बिक्री के उद्देश्य से इसे एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान पर ले जा रहे थे।

पुलिस कर रही है आगे की जांच

थाना प्रभारी पुनीत मिंज ने बताया कि आरोपियों के खिलाफ एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है और मामले की गहन जांच जारी है। यह भी पता लगाया जा रहा है कि गांजा किस स्रोत से लाया गया और इसे कहां सप्लाई किया जाना था।

गुमला जिले में नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी को लेकर पुलिस की सजगता और त्वरित कार्रवाई एक सकारात्मक संकेत है। इस प्रकार की तत्परता से न केवल नशा कारोबारियों पर लगाम लगाई जा सकती है, बल्कि युवाओं को भी इस दलदल से दूर रखने में मदद मिलेगी।
