गुमला, 15 अगस्त — गुमला जिले में आज 79वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस पूरे हर्षोल्लास और देशभक्ति के वातावरण में मनाया गया। जिले के सभी प्रखंड मुख्यालयों, गाँवों, कस्बों और मोहल्लों में तिरंगा फहराकर स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों को याद किया गया। मुख्य समारोह का आयोजन परमवीर चक्र विजेता अल्बर्ट एक्का स्टेडियम में हुआ, जहां राष्ट्रीय ध्वज पूरे सम्मान और गर्व के साथ फहराया गया।
डीसी ने फहराया तिरंगा, दी श्रद्धांजलि
गुमला की उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने अपने आवासीय कार्यालय, समाहरणालय परिसर और गृह रक्षा वाहिनी में ध्वजारोहण किया। राष्ट्रगान की गूंज और तिरंगे को सलामी के साथ वातावरण देशभक्ति से सराबोर हो गया। इसके बाद उन्होंने शहीद स्मारक, महात्मा गांधी और भगवान बिरसा मुंडा की प्रतिमाओं पर माल्यार्पण कर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।
इस मौके पर उपायुक्त ने स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में इन महापुरुषों के योगदान को याद करते हुए कहा, “देश की एकता, अखंडता और प्रगति के लिए हर नागरिक को निरंतर कार्य करना चाहिए।”
अशोक स्तंभ बना आकर्षण का केंद्र
स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह का सबसे बड़ा आकर्षण रहा समाहरणालय परिसर में अशोक स्तंभ का भव्य उद्घाटन। उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने इसे राष्ट्र की गौरवशाली धरोहर और एकता का प्रतीक बताते हुए कहा, “यह अशोक स्तंभ न केवल अतीत की स्मृति है, बल्कि आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए सत्य, धर्म और न्याय के मार्ग पर चलने की प्रेरणा भी देगा।” उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि यह स्मारक गुमला आने वाले हर नागरिक को गर्व और सम्मान का अहसास कराएगा।
जनभागीदारी से सजा समारोह
कार्यक्रम में जिले के विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी, कर्मचारी, गृह रक्षा वाहिनी के जवान, स्कूली छात्र-छात्राएँ और बड़ी संख्या में आमजन उपस्थित रहे। समाहरणालय परिसर देशभक्ति के नारों और तिरंगे के रंगों से सराबोर रहा।
