गुमला : गुमला जिला मुख्यालय स्थित समाहरणालय में, मातृत्व की गरिमा और कार्यस्थल पर माताओं की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए, स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर गुमला समाहरणालय भवन की पहली मंजिल पर उपायुक्त कार्यालय कक्ष के समीप “ब्रेस्टफीडिंग सह क्रेच रूम” का आज विधिवत उद्घाटन किया गया।
इस अवसर पर उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने कहा कि यह पहल केवल एक कमरे का उद्घाटन नहीं, बल्कि उन सभी माताओं के सम्मान और सुविधा के प्रति एक संकल्प है, जो अपने शिशुओं के साथ जनता दरबार या कार्यालय आती हैं। उन्होंने भावुक होते हुए साझा किया , “जब एक माँ जिला उपायुक्त बनती है, तो उसका दिल सहज रूप से उन माताओं के लिए अधिक संवेदनशील हो जाता है, जो अपने छोटे बच्चों को गोद या गमछा स्लिंग (बेतरा) में लेकर जनता दरबार आती हैं। मुझे अपने मातृत्व काल के वे दिन याद हैं, जब मीटिंग्स की वजह से कई जरूरी क्षण अपने बच्चे के साथ नहीं बिता पाई। मेरे पास तो निजी कक्ष था, जहाँ मैं सुरक्षित और गोपनीय तरीके से बच्चे को स्तनपान करा सकती थी, परंतु मेरी महिला सहकर्मियों, खासकर चतुर्थ श्रेणी की महिला कर्मियों, के पास यह सुविधा नहीं थी। तभी मन में ठान लिया था कि एक दिन उनके लिए सुरक्षित और सम्मानजनक जगह उपलब्ध कराऊँगी।”
आज उस वर्ष पुराने संकल्प को पूरा करते हुए उपायुक्त ने यह विशेष सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई है, ताकि जनता दरबार में आने वाली माताएँ और कार्यालय की महिला कर्मचार दोनों अपने शिशुओं को आराम से और गरिमा के साथ स्तनपान करवा सकें।
यह कमरा सुरक्षित, निजी और माताओं की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप सुसज्जित है, जहाँ एक ओर स्तनपान की सुविधा है, वहीं बच्चों के लिए खेल और विश्राम की भी व्यवस्था की गई है।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्य रूप से पुलिस अधीक्षक गुमला,जिला वन प्रमंडल पदाधिकारी, उप विकास आयुक्त गुमला सहित जिला स्तरीय सभी पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी मौजूद रहे ।
