गुमला में वज्रपात जनजागरूकता रथ रवाना, पंचायत स्तर पर लोगों को दिए जाएंगे सुरक्षा के संदेश

गुमला ः गुमला जिला वज्रपात प्रभावित क्षेत्र में स्वंय संज्ञान लेते हुए गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षत के अथक प्रयास से आज समाहरणालय परिसर से अपर समाहर्ता गुमला शशिंद्र कुमार बड़ाइक द्वारा हरी झंडी दिखाकर वज्रपात जनजागरूकता रथ को रवाना किया गया। यह कार्यक्रम भारत सरकार के गृह मंत्रालय एवं राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (NDMA) के Mitigation Project for Lightning Safety (MPLS) Awareness Programme के तहत गुमला जिले में प्रारंभ किया गया है।

इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य ग्रामीण एवं पंचायत स्तर पर वज्रपात से बचाव के उपायों की जानकारी आमजन तक पहुँचाना है। अभियान के अंतर्गत जनजागरूकता रथ विभिन्न पंचायतों का भ्रमण कर लोगों को सुरक्षित आचरण अपनाने हेतु प्रेरित करेगा। जागरूकता संदेशों के माध्यम से लोगों को यह बताया जाएगा कि वज्रपात की संभावना होने पर खुले मैदान, पेड़ों के नीचे, बिजली के खंभों या ऊँचे स्थानों पर खड़ा होना खतरनाक है। ऐसे समय पर मोबाइल, टीवी, रेडियो जैसे इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरणों का प्रयोग बंद कर सुरक्षित स्थान पर शरण लेना चाहिए। साथ ही यह भी बताया जाएगा कि वज्रपात के दौरान पक्के मकान में रहना सुरक्षित है और खिड़कियों-दरवाजों से दूरी बनाए रखनी चाहिए।

अभियान के दौरान ग्रामीणों को यह भी जागरूक किया जाएगा कि खेतों में कार्य करते समय मौसम की स्थिति पर सतत नजर रखें और वज्रपात की संभावना होने पर तुरंत सुरक्षित स्थान की ओर चले जाएँ। अपर समाहर्ता ने बताया कि इस कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत सभी प्रखंडों एवं पंचायतों में जनजागरूकता गतिविधियाँ आयोजित की जाएँगी, ताकि अधिक से अधिक लोगों तक वज्रपात से बचाव की जानकारी पहुँच सके और जनहानि को प्रभावी रूप से कम किया जा सके।
