जिले में ब्राउन शुगर और अन्य नशीले पदार्थों के खिलाफ प्रशासन ने सख्त रुख अपनाया है। उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने सोमवार को आयोजित NCORD समिति की बैठक में स्पष्ट किया कि अवैध मादक पदार्थ व्यापार के प्रति जिला प्रशासन शून्य सहिष्णुता (Zero Tolerance) की नीति पर काम करेगा। बैठक की अध्यक्षता उपायुक्त के साथ पुलिस अधीक्षक हरिश बिन ज़मां ने की।
नशीले पदार्थों की रोकथाम पर सख्त कार्रवाई
बैठक में उपायुक्त ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि जिले में ब्राउन शुगर, अफीम और गांजा जैसे नशीले पदार्थों की बिक्री और उपभोग को हर हाल में रोका जाए। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि यदि हालात में सुधार नहीं हुआ तो संबंधित अधिकारियों की जवाबदेही तय की जाएगी।
स्कूलों में जागरूकता अभियान
उपायुक्त ने पुलिस विभाग को नियमित पेट्रोलिंग बढ़ाने, सूचना नेटवर्क को मजबूत करने और प्रखंड स्तरीय अधिकारियों के साथ तालमेल स्थापित करने के निर्देश दिए। इसके अलावा उन्होंने कहा कि कक्षा 8 से लेकर उच्च विद्यालयों तक छात्रों को नशे से दूर रखने के लिए जागरूकता कार्यक्रम चलाए जाएं।
सीमा पर कड़ी निगरानी की जरूरत
बैठक के दौरान पुलिस अधीक्षक हरिश बिन ज़मां ने कहा कि जिले की सीमा में प्रवेश करने वाले वाहनों और बाहरी लोगों पर विशेष निगरानी रखी जाएगी। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि अन्य शहरों से ब्राउन शुगर और नशीले पदार्थों की अवैध तस्करी की संभावना बनी रहती है, इसलिए कड़े निगरानी तंत्र की आवश्यकता है।
अधिकारियों की मौजूदगी
बैठक में पुलिस अधीक्षक गुमला के अलावा, एसडीओ सदर, सीडीओ चैनपुर, एसडीओ बसिया, सभी एसडीपीओ, जिला सामान्य शाखा पदाधिकारी सहित संबंधित अधिकारी और कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।
