आपदा की स्थिति में प्रभावित परिवारों को तुरंत सहायता उपलब्ध कराना जिला प्रशासन की पहली जिम्मेदारी है। यह बात गुमला की उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने मंगलवार को आयोजित आपदा प्रबंधन समिति की विशेष बैठक में कही। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को सख्त निर्देश दिए कि किसी भी आपदा की सूचना मिलते ही बिना देरी राहत सामग्री और सहयोग पीड़ितों तक पहुँचाया जाए।

प्रखंड स्तर पर समितियाँ होंगी सक्रिय

बैठक में उपायुक्त ने कहा कि प्रखंड स्तर पर समितियों का गठन करके सुनिश्चित किया जाएगा कि सहायता सही समय पर पीड़ितों तक पहुँचे। उन्होंने विशेष रूप से वज्रपात (Lightning Strike) से होने वाली घटनाओं का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि लोगों को इससे बचाव के तरीकों के बारे में जागरूक करना अत्यंत आवश्यक है।

उन्होंने मौसम विभाग से प्राप्त चेतावनियों और अलर्ट को तुरंत ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में प्रसारित करने और वज्रपात से बचाव संबंधी सुझावों को व्यापक स्तर पर प्रचारित करने के निर्देश दिए।

सर्पदंश पर चिंता, मुआवजे की जानकारी देने के निर्देश

बैठक के दौरान उपायुक्त ने जहरीले सर्पदंश (Snakebite) की घटनाओं पर चिंता जताई। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि किसी व्यक्ति की सर्पदंश से मृत्यु होती है तो परिजनों को ₹4 लाख का मुआवजा दिया जाता है। इस योजना की जानकारी अधिक से अधिक लोगों तक पहुँचाने के लिए सभी अधिकारियों को जागरूकता अभियान चलाने का आदेश दिया गया।

साथ ही, उन्होंने निर्देश दिया कि प्रत्येक प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी अपने क्षेत्र के CSC केंद्रों से सर्पदंश से जुड़ा डेटा एकत्र करें। यदि किसी प्रखंड से शून्य सर्पदंश की रिपोर्ट आती है, तो संबंधित अधिकारी को शपथ पत्र (Affidavit) देकर इसकी पुष्टि करनी होगी।

बैठक में अपर समाहर्ता गुमला, सभी प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी, अंचल अधिकारी और अन्य विभागों के पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।
