मेजर ध्यानचंद की जयंती पर गुमला में धूमधाम से मनाया गया राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस

गुमला, 29 अगस्त।
हॉकी के जादूगर और पद्मभूषण सम्मानित मेजर ध्यानचंद की जयंती पर गुमला जिले के सभी विद्यालयों में राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस बड़े उत्साह और जोश के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर बच्चों ने खेलों को जीवनशैली का हिस्सा बनाने का संकल्प लिया।

तस्वीर पर माल्यार्पण और जागरूकता रैली से हुई शुरुआत

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत छात्रों ने मेजर ध्यानचंद की प्रतिमा और तस्वीर पर माल्यार्पण कर उन्हें नमन करने से की। इसके बाद विद्यालयों में जागरूकता रैली निकाली गई, जहाँ बच्चों ने पोस्टर और नारों के माध्यम से संदेश दिया – “स्वस्थ जीवन के लिए खेल है ज़रूरी”।

खेल प्रतियोगिताओं में दिखा उत्साह

छात्रों की उम्र और रुचि के अनुसार विद्यालयों में विभिन्न खेल प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन हुआ। इसमें बोरा दौड़, रस्साकसी, कबड्डी, हॉकी, फुटबॉल, तथा 100, 200 और 400 मीटर दौड़ जैसी प्रतियोगिताएँ प्रमुख रहीं। बच्चों ने पूरे जोश और खेल भावना के साथ भागीदारी की, जिससे माहौल जीवंत और उत्सवपूर्ण बन गया।

मेजर ध्यानचंद के योगदान से अवगत कराए गए छात्र

प्रातःकालीन सभा के दौरान शिक्षकों ने मेजर ध्यानचंद के जीवन और उपलब्धियों पर प्रकाश डालते हुए बताया कि उन्होंने अपनी अद्वितीय हॉकी प्रतिभा से भारत को अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर स्वर्णिम पहचान दिलाई। ओलंपिक में उनके प्रदर्शन ने देश का गौरव बढ़ाया और उन्हें विश्वभर में “हॉकी का जादूगर” कहा गया।

शिक्षकों ने छात्रों को समझाया कि खेल न केवल शारीरिक मजबूती देता है, बल्कि अनुशासन, टीम भावना और मानसिक संतुलन भी विकसित करता है। इस अवसर पर बच्चों को प्रतिदिन खेलों को जीवन में शामिल करने की शपथ दिलाई गई।
