गुमला पुलिस की बड़ी कार्रवाई: ब्राउन सुगर के साथ युवक गिरफ्तार, साथी फरार

गुमला, 3 सितम्बर 2025 – गुमला अनुमंडल पुलिस ने सोमवार देर शाम एक गुप्त सूचना पर त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए 08 ग्राम ब्राउन सुगर, दो मोबाइल फोन और एक स्कूटी के साथ एक युवक को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी अपने साथी के साथ छात्रों को नशा बेचने की फिराक में था।

पुलिस को मिली थी गुप्त सूचना

अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी सुरेश प्रसाद यादव ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में बताया कि पुलिस अधीक्षक हरिश बिन जामां को सूचना मिली थी कि गुमला थाना क्षेत्र के के.ओ. कॉलेज, पुग्गु रोड फुटबॉल मैदान के पास ब्राउन सुगर की खरीद-बिक्री हो रही है। सूचना की पुष्टि और कार्रवाई के लिए एएसपी के निर्देश पर एक छापेमारी दल का गठन किया गया।

आरोपी रंगेहाथ पकड़ा गया

छापामारी टीम जब मैदान पर पहुंची तो पुलिस को देखकर कुछ लोग भागने लगे। पीछा कर एक युवक को पकड़ लिया गया, जिसकी पहचान रितेश केशरी (21), पिता रमेश केशरी, ग्राम घाटो बगीचा, थाना व जिला गुमला के रूप में हुई। तलाशी में उसके ट्राउजर से 08 ग्राम ब्राउन सुगर और दो मोबाइल फोन बरामद किए गए।

पास खड़ी स्कूटी (नं. JH07J-0901) के बारे में पूछताछ करने पर उसने बताया कि यह उसके बड़े भाई नितेश केशरी के नाम पर है और नशे की बिक्री के लिए ही इसका इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।

छात्रों को बेचना चाहता था नशा

पुलिस के अनुसार, आरोपी ने स्वीकार किया कि वह अपने दोस्त शशि साहू उर्फ जुब्बा, निवासी दीपक ग्लास स्टोर, मेन रोड गुमला के साथ मिलकर ब्राउन सुगर बेचने आया था। दोनों का प्लान था कि कॉलेज छात्रों और स्थानीय बच्चों को प्रति ग्राम ₹4000 में नशा बेचा जाए। हालांकि, पुलिस कार्रवाई के दौरान शशि साहू फरार हो गया।

बरामदगी और आगे की कार्रवाई

छापामारी के दौरान पुलिस ने:

• 08 ग्राम ब्राउन सुगर
• एक स्कूटी (JH07J-0901)
• दो मोबाइल फोन
  जब्त किए। आरोपी रितेश केशरी को विधिवत गिरफ्तार कर थाना लाया गया। पुलिस ने बताया कि उसका पूर्व में भी आपराधिक इतिहास रहा है।
