गुमला में करंट प्रवाहित तार से भैंस और ग्रामीण की दर्दनाक मौत, बिजली विभाग पर लापरवाही का आरोप

गुमला, 9 सितंबर।
गुमला जिले के सिसई थाना क्षेत्र अंतर्गत लावागाई गांव स्थित नेशनल हाईवे-23 पर बने टोल प्लाजा के पास सोमवार को एक बड़ा हादसा हो गया। बिजली के सपोर्टिंग तार में 11 हजार वोल्ट का करंट प्रवाहित होने से पहले एक भैंस और फिर एक ग्रामीण की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।

ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि गांव के ही ऐतवा उरांव की भैंस करंट प्रवाहित तार के संपर्क में आ गई और उसकी घटनास्थल पर ही मौत हो गई। हादसे की खबर सुनकर शनिचरवा उरांव वहां पहुंचा। लेकिन जैसे ही वह तार के नजदीक आया, वह भी करंट की चपेट में आ गया और उसकी भी मौके पर मौत हो गई।

पुलिस ने संभाला मामला

घटना की सूचना मिलते ही सिसई थाना पुलिस टीम के साथ मौके पर पहुंची और शव को कब्जे में लेकर गुमला सदर अस्पताल भेजा। पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।

पीड़ित परिवार ने मांगा मुआवजा

भैंस मालिक ऐतवा उरांव ने कहा कि बिजली विभाग की घोर लापरवाही से उसकी भैंस की मौत हुई है। उसने विभाग से उचित मुआवजा देने की मांग की है। वहीं, ग्रामीणों का आरोप है कि बिजली विभाग की लापरवाही के कारण इस तरह की घटनाएं बार-बार घट रही हैं।

विभाग की भूमिका पर सवाल

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि विभाग की देखरेख में खामियां होने के कारण खुले में तार लटकते रहते हैं, जिससे कभी भी बड़ी दुर्घटना हो सकती है। फिलहाल पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है, जबकि परिजन और ग्रामीण विभागीय कार्रवाई और मुआवजे की मांग पर अड़े हैं।
