गुमला: नदी किनारे मिला नगर परिषद कर्मी का शव, हत्या की आशंका में जांच तेज

गुमला जिले के मरदा नदी किनारे सोमवार को नगर परिषद में कार्यरत एक सफाई कर्मी का शव संदिग्ध हालात में बरामद किया गया। मृतक की पहचान अनिल केरकेट्टा (53 वर्ष), निवासी खडियापाड़ा के रूप में हुई है। शव नग्न अवस्था में मिलने से परिजन हत्या की आशंका जता रहे हैं।

बहन ने जताई हत्या की आशंका

मृतक की बहन संगीता केरकेट्टा ने बताया कि उनका भाई रविवार को अमेराडीह बाजार में मुर्गा लड़ाई देखने गया था, लेकिन वापस घर नहीं लौटा। काफी खोजबीन के बाद जब परिवारजन नदी किनारे पहुंचे तो वहां भीड़ लगी हुई थी और शव पड़ा मिला।
संगीता ने आरोप लगाया कि “अनिल अक्सर मुर्गा लड़ाई में पैसे जीतता था। संभव है कि लूटपाट के दौरान उसकी हत्या कर दी गई हो। शव पूरी तरह नग्न अवस्था में था और उसके कपड़े भी घटनास्थल से गायब थे।”

पुलिस की कार्रवाई

सूचना मिलते ही गुमला सदर थाना प्रभारी महेंद्र कुमार करमाली दलबल के साथ घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे और जांच शुरू की। शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा गया और बाद में परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।
थाना प्रभारी ने कहा, “पुलिस सभी पहलुओं पर गहराई से जांच कर रही है। पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट के बाद ही मृत्यु का कारण स्पष्ट होगा। यदि हत्या की पुष्टि होती है, तो अपराधियों को जल्द गिरफ्तार कर सलाखों के पीछे भेजा जाएगा।”

ग्रामीणों में दहशत

घटना के बाद इलाके में दहशत का माहौल है। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि यदि यह हत्या है, तो अपराधियों को शीघ्र पकड़ा जाना चाहिए ताकि क्षेत्र में भय का वातावरण समाप्त हो सके।
