गुमला: आम नागरिकों के स्वास्थ्य की सुरक्षा को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देते हुए, गुमला जिला प्रशासन ने गुरुवार को शहर के विभिन्न खाद्य प्रतिष्ठानों पर खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी प्रकाश चंद्र गुग्गी के नेतृत्व में औचक सघन छापेमारी की। यह कार्रवाई उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश और अपर मुख्य चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी के मार्गदर्शन में की गई। जाँच के दौरान पटेल चौक स्थित गोविंद जनरल स्टोर सहित कई दुकानों पर खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिनियम का गंभीर उल्लंघन पाया गया, जिसके बाद दुकानदारों पर कड़ी कार्रवाई की गई।
छापेमारी के मुख्य बिंदु: अनियमितताएं और जब्ती
जाँच दल को कई दुकानों में एक्सपायरी हो चुके कोल्ड ड्रिंक्स और खाद्य पदार्थ धड़ल्ले से बेचे जाते हुए मिले। गोविंद जनरल स्टोर में बड़ी मात्रा में मियाद पार कर चुके कोल्ड ड्रिंक्स जब्त किए गए। इसी तरह, अन्नपूर्णा होटल, रुचि स्वीट्स और मुस्कान टेलीकॉम CSC सेंटर में भी एक्सपायरी पेय पदार्थ पाए गए।
जाँच में सामने आई अन्य प्रमुख अनियमितताएँ:
- बिना लेबल का सामान: लक्की जनरल स्टोर में बिना लेबल वाले ब्रेड/पाव की बिक्री की पुष्टि हुई।
- हानिकारक रंग: पूजा चाट और संदीप चाट की दुकानों में खाद्य सामग्री में अप्रमाणित और स्वास्थ्य के लिए हानिकारक फूड कलर का उपयोग होता पाया गया। इन रंगों को मौके पर ही नष्ट कर दिया गया और दुकानदारों को तत्काल खाद्य लाइसेंस लेने का निर्देश दिया गया।
- सार्वजनिक धूम्रपान: चाय गलियारा क्षेत्र की दुकानों में सार्वजनिक रूप से धूम्रपान करते लोग पाए गए, जिन पर कोटपा अधिनियम (COTPA Act) के तहत जुर्माना लगाया गया।
कार्रवाई और चेतावनी
खाद्य सुरक्षा टीम ने बरामद किए गए सभी एक्सपायरी कोल्ड ड्रिंक्स और अन्य खाद्य सामग्री को मौके पर ही नष्ट कराया। संबंधित दुकानदारों के विरुद्ध FSSAI अधिनियम के प्रावधानों के तहत आवश्यक कानूनी कार्रवाई की गई है।
खाद्य निरीक्षक ने जिले के सभी कोल्ड ड्रिंक डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर्स को भी सख्त चेतावनी जारी की है कि यदि वे अपने स्तर पर एक्सपायरी प्रोडक्ट्स को तत्काल दुकानों से वापस नहीं लेते हैं, तो उनके खिलाफ भी कड़ी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जाएगी।
जिला प्रशासन ने समस्त जिलेवासियों से अपील की है कि वे किसी भी खाद्य या पेय पदार्थ को खरीदते समय उसका लेबल और एक्सपायरी तिथि अवश्य जांच लें। प्रशासन ने नागरिकों को एक्सपायरी सामान बेचे जाने की सूचना मिलते ही तत्काल प्रशासन को सूचित करने का आह्वान किया है। प्रशासन ने स्पष्ट किया है कि नागरिकों का स्वास्थ्य उनकी सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है और इस प्रकार की अनियमितताओं को किसी भी परिस्थिति में बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा।
