गुमला सदर थाना पुलिस ने बाल सुधार गृह, सीलम से फरार हुए दो किशोर कैदियों को त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए सकुशल बरामद कर पुनः सुधार गृह भेज दिया है। पुलिस अधीक्षक हरिश बिन जामां ने प्रेस विज्ञप्ति जारी कर इसकी पुष्टि की।
कैसे हुआ फरार
प्रेस विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार, गुमला थाना कांड संख्या 281/25 के तहत दोषी पाए गए दोनों किशोरों को 10 सितम्बर 2025 को सुधार गृह में निरुद्ध किया गया था। लेकिन 18 सितम्बर की रात लगभग 11:13 बजे वे पीछे के गेट से दीवार फांदकर भाग निकले।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही गुमला थाना में मामला दर्ज किया गया और थाना प्रभारी महेंद्र कुमार करमाली के नेतृत्व में विशेष टीम गठित की गई। लगातार छापेमारी के बाद पुलिस ने दोनों किशोरों को 19 सितम्बर को गिरफ्तार कर सुधार गृह वापस भेज दिया।
बार-बार क्यों भाग रहे कैदी?
सूत्रों के अनुसार, सीलम सुधार गृह से कैदियों के फरार होने की यह पहली घटना नहीं है। समय-समय पर किशोर कैदी चारदीवारी फांदकर भाग निकलते हैं। सुरक्षा गार्डों और निगरानी कर्मियों की लापरवाही को इसकी मुख्य वजह बताया जा रहा है।
स्थानीय लोगों और अधिकारियों ने चिंता जताई है कि सुधार गृह प्रबंधन ने अब तक ठोस सुरक्षा व्यवस्था नहीं की है, जिसके कारण किशोर अपराधी बार-बार मौका पाकर फरार होने में सफल रहते हैं।
पहले से रची थी योजना
जानकारी के मुताबिक, दोनों किशोरों ने पहले से ही रात के समय दीवार फांदकर भागने की योजना बना ली थी। घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही सुधार गृह में हड़कंप मच गया। हालांकि, पुलिस ने तेजी से कार्रवाई करते हुए दोनों को सुरक्षित ढंग से हिरासत में लेकर वापस भेज दिया।
