गुमला : राष्ट्रीय तंबाकू नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम के तहत नशा मुक्त युवा, स्वस्थ समाज के संदेश के साथ मंगलवार को सदर अस्पताल गुमला के सभागार में एक दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम आयोजित हुआ। इसमें जिले के 11 प्रखंडों से चार-चार सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी (सीएचओ) और एक-एक सीनियर ट्रीटमेंट सुपरवाइजर (एसटीएस) ने भाग लिया।
अभियान की रूपरेखा
उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देशानुसार यह विशेष जनअभियान 9 अक्टूबर से 9 दिसंबर तक 60 दिनों तक संचालित होगा। उद्देश्यों में —

युवाओं को तंबाकू और नशे की लत से मुक्त करना

स्कूल और कॉलेज के 100 गज के दायरे को तंबाकू निषेध क्षेत्र घोषित करना
-
हर पंचायत एवं ग्राम को तंबाकू मुक्त बनाना
जनजागरूकता रैलियां, पोस्टर प्रदर्शनी, दीवार लेखन, नुक्कड़ नाटक, शपथ कार्यक्रम और विद्यालय स्तरीय प्रतियोगिताएं आयोजित की जाएंगी।
प्रमुख वक्तव्य
डॉ. अनुपम किशोर ने तंबाकू को “धीमा जहर” बताते हुए इसे कैंसर, हृदय रोग, स्ट्रोक और फेफड़ों की बीमारियों का बड़ा कारण बताया।
डॉ. के.के. मिश्रा ने इसे “सामाजिक महामारी” कहते हुए हर वर्ग से सक्रिय भागीदारी की अपील की।
कानून और जागरूकता
प्रशिक्षक वंदना और सुमन पर्सनालिटी ने COTPA Act 2003 के प्रावधानों के साथ तंबाकू सेवन के स्वास्थ्य और सामाजिक-आर्थिक प्रभावों पर जानकारी दी।
सामूहिक संकल्प
प्रशिक्षण के अंत में प्रतिभागियों ने शपथ ली कि वे स्वयं और समाज को तंबाकू सेवन से दूर रखने का हरसंभव प्रयास करेंगे।
