गुमला : उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देशानुसार मंगलवार को जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल के नेतृत्व में बी.एन. कॉलेज सिसई परिसर में सड़क सुरक्षा जागरूकता अभियान आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में गुमला, सिसई, सिमडेगा, लोहरदगा तथा आसपास के क्षेत्रों के विद्यालयों और महाविद्यालयों के 630 से अधिक एनसीसी कैडेट्स ने भाग लिया।
सुरक्षा और अनुशासन पर बल
जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी ने विद्यार्थियों को वाहन चलाते समय हेलमेट और सीट बेल्ट लगाने, ट्रैफिक नियमों का पालन करने और नशे की हालत में वाहन नहीं चलाने की सख्त हिदायत दी। उन्होंने कहा कि “यातायात में अनुशासन और सतर्कता से दुर्घटनाएं रोकी जा सकती हैं।”
गुड समेरिटन योजना की जानकारी
सड़क सुरक्षा टीम ने प्रतिभागियों को ‘Good Samaritan’ योजना की जानकारी दी —

सड़क दुर्घटना के घायलों को “गोल्डन ऑवर” में अस्पताल पहुँचाने वाले नागरिक को ₹2,000 और प्रशस्ति पत्र दिया जाएगा।

हिट एंड रन मामलों में मृत्यु की स्थिति में ₹2 लाख एवं गंभीर घायलों को ₹50,000 की राशि देने का प्रावधान है।
शपथ और सहभागी अधिकारी
कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित सभी विद्यार्थियों ने यातायात नियमों का पालन करने की शपथ ली।
इस दौरान मोटरयान निरीक्षक प्रदीप कुमार तिर्की, प्रधान लिपिक टी.एन. निराला, सड़क सुरक्षा प्रबंधक कुमार प्रभाष, आईटी सहायक मंटू रवानी, रोड इंजीनियरिंग एनालिस्ट प्रणय कांशी, 46 झारखंड बटालियन एनसीसी कमान अधिकारी पी.बी. शर्मा, सिसई थाना प्रभारी संतोष कुमार व एनसीसी फोर्स के सदस्य उपस्थित रहे।
