गुमला : उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देशानुसार सिकल सेल एनीमिया की रोकथाम एवं नियंत्रण हेतु जिले में व्यापक स्क्रीनिंग और कन्फर्मेशन अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। अब तक जिले के 2 से 40 वर्ष आयु वर्ग के आठ लाख लोगों की स्क्रीनिंग की जा चुकी है, जिनमें से 456 व्यक्ति पॉजिटिव पाए गए हैं। इनमें से 150 व्यक्तियों का कन्फर्मेटरी टेस्ट पूरा हो गया है और उन्हें दिव्यांगता प्रमाण पत्र जारी किए जा चुके हैं।
जांच शिविर का कार्यक्रम
सभी कन्फर्मेटरी टेस्ट सदर अस्पताल, गुमला में किए जाएंगे।

प्रशासनिक निर्देश
उपायुक्त ने सभी प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी, समाज कल्याण पदाधिकारी, प्रभारी चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी और सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों को निर्देश दिया है कि स्क्रीनिंग में पॉजिटिव पाए गए सभी मरीजों को निर्धारित तिथि पर शिविर स्थल तक पहुँचाना सुनिश्चित करें। साथ ही प्रत्येक मरीज को आधार कार्ड, पासपोर्ट साइज फोटो और सिकल सेल स्क्रीनिंग कार्ड साथ लाने को कहा गया है।
