गुमला: गुमला उपायुक्त-सह-निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने बुधवार को जिला मुख्यालय के चंदाली स्थित ईवीएम वेयरहाउस का निरीक्षण किया। आगामी चुनावों को देखते हुए उन्होंने सुरक्षा एवं संरक्षा व्यवस्था का विस्तार से जायजा लिया।
निरीक्षण के दौरान उपायुक्त ने वेयरहाउस में स्थापित सीसीटीवी कैमरों, सुरक्षा उपकरणों, विद्युत व्यवस्था तथा ईवीएम और वीवीपैट मशीनों के रख-रखाव की स्थिति की जांच की। साथ ही बैलट यूनिट हॉल, अग्निशमन उपकरण, कमरों के सीलिंग, डबल लॉक सिस्टम तथा निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा निर्धारित अन्य मानकों का पालन सुनिश्चित करने को लेकर निर्देश दिए।
उन्होंने संपूर्ण परिसर का भ्रमण कर सुरक्षा प्रबंधन पर विशेष ध्यान देने को कहा और आवश्यक सुधारात्मक दिशा-निर्देश जारी किए।
निरीक्षण के दौरान उप-निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी, विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों के प्रतिनिधि तथा निर्वाचन कार्यालय के कर्मी उपस्थित रहे।
