69वीं राष्ट्रीय स्कूली खेल (बॉक्सिंग) प्रतियोगिता में झारखंड के मुक्केबाजों ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए कुल तीन पदक अपने नाम किए। ईटानगर (अरुणाचल प्रदेश) स्थित खेलो इंडिया इनडोर स्टेडियम में 28 अक्टूबर से 03 नवंबर, 2025 तक आयोजित SGFI बॉक्सिंग चैंपियनशिप में झारखंड की टीम ने उम्दा खेल दिखाया।
झारखंड के आर्यनमुखी ने अंडर-17 बालक वर्ग के 46 किलोग्राम भारवर्ग में रजत पदक हासिल किया। वहीं, कनिष्क गोराई ने 63 किलोग्राम और मोहित गोप ने 66 किलोग्राम भारवर्ग में कांस्य पदक अपने नाम किया। खिलाड़ियों के इस प्रदर्शन से राज्य में खुशी का माहौल है।
टीम का नेतृत्व कोच अनुपम तिवारी और अनु कुमारी ने किया। टीम मैनेजर प्रवीण यादव एवं हरिकेश सिंह भी दल के साथ रहे।
इस उपलब्धि पर मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन, शिक्षा सचिव उमाशंकर सिंह, परियोजना निदेशक शशि रंजन, प्रशासी पदाधिकारी सच्चिदानंद द्विवेदी तिग्गा, राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी धीरसेन ए. सोरेंग और राज्य खेल कोषांग के सदस्यों ने खिलाड़ियों, प्रशिक्षकों और सपोर्ट टीम को बधाई दी। उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि राज्य के युवा खिलाड़ी इसी तरह राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर नाम रोशन करते रहेंगे।
