गुमला पुलिस ने मानव तस्करी और नाबालिग लड़कियों के अपहरण के मामले में बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। पुलिस ने दिल्ली से दो नाबालिग लड़कियों को रेस्क्यू कर एक आरोपी युवक को गिरफ्तार किया है। यह जानकारी गुमला पुलिस कप्तान हरिश बिन जामां ने सोमवार को अपने कार्यालय में आयोजित प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में दी।
एसपी ने बताया कि उन्हें इस मामले में एक गुप्त सूचना प्राप्त हुई थी। मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए 31 अक्टूबर 2025 को अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी सुरेश प्रसाद यादव के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष जांच दल (एसआईटी) का गठन किया गया। टीम में पुअनि गौतम वर्मा, महिला आरक्षी सुचिता डूंगडूंग और आरक्षी परवेज अंसारी शामिल थे।
एसआईटी की टीम ने दिल्ली पुलिस के सहयोग से करोलबाग स्थित टोडापुर दशघरा मोहल्ले में छापेमारी की। छापेमारी के दौरान दो नाबालिग लड़कियों को बरामद किया गया और एक आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया गया। गिरफ्तार युवक की पहचान विकास सिंह (उम्र 29 वर्ष, पिता स्व. अरुण सिंह), निवासी मदनपुर वार्ड संख्या-3, जिला समस्तीपुर (बिहार) के रूप में की गई है।
पूछताछ में आरोपी ने पुलिस को बताया कि वह वर्ष 2013 से दिल्ली में रह रहा था और वर्तमान में पैनक्रॉस ट्रैवल्स इंडिया प्राइवेट लिमिटेड कंपनी में कार्यरत है। आरोपी ने स्वीकार किया कि उसका संपर्क बिहार दरभंगा के अशोक कुमार यादव और अविनाश नायक उर्फ अंकित से था।
विकास सिंह ने खुलासा किया कि 9 अक्टूबर 2025 को वह छत्तीसगढ़ के जशपुर जिला के दुलदुला प्रखंड अंतर्गत कोरना गांव से दो नाबालिग लड़कियों को शादी का प्रलोभन देकर दिल्ली लेकर गया था।
एसपी हरिश बिन जामां ने बताया कि आरोपी से पूछताछ जारी है और मानव तस्करी से जुड़े अन्य लोगों की संलिप्तता की जांच की जा रही है। पुलिस टीम ने दोनों नाबालिग लड़कियों को सुरक्षित गुमला लाकर बाल कल्याण समिति (CWC) के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया है।
गुमला पुलिस की इस त्वरित कार्रवाई की सराहना की जा रही है, जिससे दो नाबालिग लड़कियाँ एक बार फिर सुरक्षित अपने घर लौट सकीं।
