चोरी के आभूषणों के साथ एक युवक गिरफ्तार, भेजा गया जेल — साथी की तलाश में जुटी पुलिस

गुमला : गुमला पुलिस ने छठ पर्व की रात हुए आभूषण चोरी के मामले का खुलासा करते हुए एक आरोपी युवक को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। आरोपी के पास से चोरी के कीमती सोने-चांदी के आभूषण बरामद किए गए हैं। गुमला पुलिस कप्तान हरिश बिन जामां ने सोमवार को अपने कार्यालय में प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस कर इस मामले की जानकारी दी।

एसपी ने बताया कि 28 अक्टूबर 2025 की देर रात लोहरदगा रोड, पुराना बस स्टैंड के पीछे स्थित राहुल कुमार के घर से अज्ञात चोरों ने सोने-चांदी के आभूषण चुरा लिए थे। मामले की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी सुरेश प्रसाद यादव के निर्देशन में सदर थाना प्रभारी महेंद्र कुमार करमाली के नेतृत्व में एक छापामारी दल का गठन किया। टीम में सअनि श्यामलाल पूर्ति, सअनि सुनील कुमार और सशस्त्र बल के जवान शामिल थे।

तकनीकी और मानवीय साक्ष्यों के आधार पर पुलिस ने विंध्याचल नगर स्थित एक अर्धनिर्मित मकान में छापेमारी की। छापेमारी के दौरान पुलिस को देखकर एक युवक भागने की कोशिश करने लगा, लेकिन पुलिसकर्मियों ने उसे पकड़ लिया। गिरफ्तार आरोपी की पहचान संदीप राम (उम्र 19 वर्ष, पिता पपन राम), निवासी विंध्याचल नगर, गुमला के रूप में हुई है।

पूछताछ में संदीप ने स्वीकार किया कि उसने अपने साथी सुमित राम (पिता स्व. अनिल राम, निवासी हरिजन बस्ती, गुमला) के साथ मिलकर चोरी की घटना को अंजाम दिया था। आरोपी ने बताया कि कुछ आभूषण उसने अपने पास छिपा रखे हैं जबकि शेष उसके साथी बेचने के लिए ले गया है। संदीप की निशानदेही पर पुलिस ने एक अर्धनिर्मित मकान की सीढ़ी के नीचे से चोरी के आभूषण बरामद कर लिए हैं।

एसपी हरिश बिन जामां ने बताया कि पुलिस अब फरार आरोपी सुमित राम की तलाश में जुटी हुई है और जल्द ही उसे भी गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेजा जाएगा।
उन्होंने कहा कि गुमला पुलिस अपराधियों पर लगातार निगरानी रख रही है और आम जनता की सुरक्षा व भरोसा बनाए रखने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
