पूर्वी भारत में अपना विस्तार करते हुए, बिहार में खुलीं उज्जीवन स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक की चार नई शाखाएँ

पटना, नवंबर, 2025: उज्जीवन स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक (उज्जीवन एसएफबी) ने पूर्वी भारत में अपने नेटवर्क के विस्तार की घोषणा की है। बैंक ने बिहार राज्य के चार शहरों- बेगूसराय, भागलपुर, जमुई और कटिहार में नई शाखाएँ खोली हैं। इस कदम के साथ बैंक ने अर्ध-शहरी और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में छोटे कारोबारियों, घर खरीदने के इच्छुक लोगों और अब तक बैंकिंग से दूर समुदायों तक वित्तीय सेवाएँ पहुँचाने की अपनी प्रतिबद्धता को और मजबूत किया है।
इन नई शाखाओं के साथ, उज्जीवन स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक अब बिहार में अपनी पहुँच को और बढ़ा रहा है। बैंक वर्तमान में 26 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में 98.8 लाख से अधिक ग्राहकों को सेवाएँ दे रहा है। ये चार नई माइक्रो बैंकिंग (एमबी) शाखाएँ मुख्य रूप से ग्रुप लोन (जीएल) और इंडिविजुअल लोन (आईएल) पर फोकस करेंगी। साथ ही, इनसे स्थानीय स्तर पर करीब 40-45 लोगों के लिए रोज़गार के अवसर भी उत्पन्न होंगे, जिससे बिहार की आर्थिक प्रगति को बल मिलेगा।
विस्तार पर बात करते हुए उज्जीवन स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक के माइक्रो बैंकिंग और गोल्ड लोन के हेड, श्री विभास चंद्र ने कहा, “बिहार हमारे लिए एक अहम् विकास क्षेत्र है, जहाँ मजबूत उद्यमशीलता की भावना और भरोसेमंद वित्तीय सेवाओं की बढ़ती जरूरत साफ दिखाई देती है। नई शाखाओं की शुरुआत हमारे इस संकल्प को दर्शाती है कि हम जमीनी स्तर पर लोगों को आर्थिक रूप से सशक्त बनाना चाहते हैं। हमारा उद्देश्य पूर्वी भारत में अपनी मौजूदगी को और मजबूत करना है, ताकि हम लोगों, छोटे कारोबारियों और युवा उद्यमियों की बदलती जरूरतों के अनुसार उन्हें आसान और ग्राहक-केंद्रित बैंकिंग समाधान दे सकें।”
उज्जीवन स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक का ग्राहक आधार 98.8 लाख से अधिक है, जिसमें 3.5 लाख एसेट-ओनली ग्राहक, 50.2 लाख लाइबिलिटी-ओनली ग्राहक और 45.1 लाख ऐसे ग्राहक शामिल हैं जिनके पास दोनों तरह के खाते हैं। यह बैंक की संतुलित और समावेशी विकास रणनीति को दर्शाता है। बैंक अपने ग्राहकों को निरंतर रूप से सेविंग और करंट अकाउंट, फिक्स्ड और रिकरिंग डिपॉजिट, डिमैट और इंश्योरेंस सर्विसेस, माइक्रोफाइनेंस, हाउसिंग, एमएसएमई, एग्रीकल्चर, व्हीकल और गोल्ड लोन जैसे प्रोडक्ट्स उपलब्ध कराता आ रहा है।
ग्राहकों की अलग-अलग जरूरतों को ध्यान में रखते हुए उज्जीवन स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक बिज़नेस लोन 10 लाख रुपए से 10 करोड़ रुपए तक, अफोर्डेबल हाउसिंग लोन 5 लाख रुपए से 75 लाख रुपए तक, माइक्रो मॉर्टगेज लोन 3 लाख रुपए से 15 लाख रुपए तक, गोल्ड लोन 25,001 रुपए से 25 लाख रुपए तक और व्हीकल लोन 26,000 रुपए से 5 लाख रुपए तक प्रदान करता है। वहीं, डिपॉजिट पर बैंक आकर्षक ब्याज दरें देता है, जिसमें सेविंग अकाउंट पर सालाना 7.25% तक और सीनियर सिटीज़न के फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट पर 7.95% तक ब्याज दर शामिल है।
डिजिटल सेवाओं के मामले में भी बैंक लगातार आगे बढ़ रहा है। मोबाइल और इंटरनेट बैंकिंग के लिए ‘उज्जीवन ईज़ी’ ऐप और ग्राहकों की आसान पहुँच के लिए ‘हेलो उज्जीवन’ नामक वर्नाक्युलर, विजुअल और वॉइस-बेस्ड ऐप उपलब्ध है। इसके अलावा, वीडियो बैंकिंग, यूपीआई, आईएमपीएस, एनईएफटी और आरटीजीएस जैसी सुविधाएँ भी ग्राहकों को दी जा रही हैं, जिससे हर तरह के लेन-देन तेज़, आसान और सुरक्षित तरीके से किए जा सकें।
उज्जीवन स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक ने सितंबर 2025 तिमाही में मजबूत प्रदर्शन दर्ज किया। बैंक के कुल डिपॉजिट में सालाना 15% की बढ़ोतरी हुई, जबकि सीएएसए डिपॉजिट 22% बढ़कर 10,783 करोड़ रुपए के स्तर पर पहुँच गई, जो 10,000 करोड़ रुपए का आँकड़ा पार करने के बाद एक नई उपलब्धि है। बैंक की कुल लोन बुक भी 14% बढ़कर 34,588 करोड़ रुपए पर पहुँच गई, जिसमें सिक्योर्ड लोन का हिस्सा बढ़कर 47% दर्ज किया गया है।
इस तिमाही में बैंक ने अब तक का सबसे ज्यादा 7,932 करोड़ रुपए का लोन डिस्बर्समेंट किया। एसेट क्वालिटी में भी सुधार देखा गया, जहाँ पीएआर घटकर 4.45% और जीएनपीए स्थिर रहकर 2.5% पर रहा। वित्त वर्ष 26 की योजना के तहत बैंक ने इस तिमाही में 14 नई शाखाएँ खोलीं और यूनिवर्सल बैंकिंग लाइसेंस के लिए आरबीआई में आवेदन भी किया है, जिसके निर्णय की प्रतीक्षा की जा रही है।
