गुमला जिले में 95 प्रतिशत नागरिकों का सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच पूर्ण- शत-प्रतिशत जांच हेतु विशेष शिविरों का आयोजन जारी

गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश के आलोक में गुमला जिले में स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच अभियान प्रभावी रूप से संचालित किया जा रहा है। अब तक जिले के 95 प्रतिशत नागरिकों का सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच कार्य पूर्ण कर लिया गया है, जो स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा के क्षेत्र में एक सराहनीय उपलब्धि है।

उपायुक्त के निर्देशानुसार शत-प्रतिशत जांच सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा नियमित रूप से विशेष जांच शिविरों का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में दिनांक 17, 18 एवं 30, 31 अक्टूबर को पुष्टिकरण जांच (कन्फर्मेटरी टेस्ट) एवं दिव्यांगता प्रमाणपत्र शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इन शिविरों में कुल 463 नागरिकों का सिकल सेल एनीमिया की पुष्टि हुई, जिनमें से 255 नागरिकों को दिव्यांगता प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किया गया तथा 208 सिकल सेल वाहक (कैरीयर) नागरिकों की परामर्श (काउंसलिंग) की जा रही है।

ज्ञात हो कि जिले में कुल 8,51,054 नागरिकों के सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच का लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया गया था, जिनमें से अब तक 8,09,736 नागरिकों का जांच कार्य पूर्ण कर लिया गया है। इनमें से 463 नागरिक सिकल सेल एनीमिया से पीड़ित पाए गए हैं तथा 1,990 नागरिक सिकल सेल वाहक (कैरीयर) के रूप में चिन्हित किए गए हैं।

वर्तमान में 41,318 नागरिकों का जांच कार्य शेष है, जिसके लिए जिला प्रशासन एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा निरंतर जांच कार्य जारी है। उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने कहा कि सिकल सेल एनीमिया के विरुद्ध यह अभियान जन-जागरूकता एवं जन-स्वास्थ्य की दिशा में एक सशक्त और प्रभावी पहल है। इससे जिले के प्रत्येक नागरिक को स्वस्थ एवं सुरक्षित जीवन की दिशा में आगे बढ़ने का अवसर मिलेगा।
उपयुक्त ने जिले के सभी छूटे हुए नागरिक जिन्होंने अब तक अपना सिकल सेल एनीमिया जांच नहीं कराया उन्हें भी अपने नजदीकी स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों एवं कैंप में जाकर जांच कराने की अपील की, उन्होंने कहा कि यह जांच पूरी तरह से सुरक्षित है एवं नागरिकों के स्वास्थ्य भविष्य के लिए यह जरूरी है।
