गुमला पुलिस की बड़ी कार्रवाई: 258 ग्राम ब्राउन शुगर के साथ तीन तस्कर गिरफ्तार, भेजे गए जेल

गुमला, 12 नवंबर 2025:
गुमला पुलिस ने प्रतिबंधित नशीले पदार्थ ब्राउन शुगर की अवैध तस्करी में संलिप्त तीन युवकों को गिरफ्तार कर बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी सुरेश प्रसाद यादव ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में जानकारी दी कि पुलिस अधीक्षक हरिश बिन जामां को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि बादल साहू नामक व्यक्ति गढ़वा से ब्राउन शुगर खरीदकर गुमला और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में बिक्री करने जा रहा है।

सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस कप्तान ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए एसडीपीओ सुरेश प्रसाद यादव के नेतृत्व में एक छापामारी दल का गठन किया। दल में थाना प्रभारी महेंद्र कुमार करमाली, पुअनि अमर शुक्ला, सअनि सुनील कुमार तथा सशस्त्र बल शामिल थे।

छापेमारी टीम ने चेटर मैदान, गुमला के पास संदिग्ध गतिविधियों के बीच तीन व्यक्तियों को पकड़ने में सफलता पाई, जो पुलिस को देखकर भागने की कोशिश कर रहे थे। पकड़े गए तीनों की पहचान इस प्रकार की गई —

1. बादल साहू (33 वर्ष), पिता भुनेश्वर साहू, साकिन चाहा वैरागी बगान, थाना गुमला।
2. विकाश कुमार बैठा (24 वर्ष), पिता स्व. राजेश कुमार बैठा, साकिन लक्ष्मण नगर, थाना गुमला।
3. सुनील प्रजापति (22 वर्ष), पिता रविन्द्र प्रजापति, साकिन भंडरा भवरो, थाना भंडरा, जिला लोहरदगा।

बरामदगी:

• बादल साहू के पास से 250 ग्राम ब्राउन शुगर, ₹14,150 नकद, 2 मोबाइल, एक बैग, एक पैजामा और एक शॉल।
• विकाश कुमार बैठा के पास से 8 ग्राम ब्राउन शुगर और एक मोबाइल फोन।
• कुल 258 ग्राम ब्राउन शुगर बरामद की गई।

पुछताछ में तीनों ने स्वीकार किया कि उन्होंने यह ब्राउन शुगर गढ़वा जिले के तिलदाग मोड़ स्थित अंकित कुमार से खरीदी थी और गुमला क्षेत्र में बेचने के लिए ला रहे थे। पुलिस ने तीनों आरोपियों को एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत गिरफ्तार कर गुमला जेल भेज दिया।

एसडीपीओ ने बताया कि बादल साहू और विकाश बैठा दोनों के विरुद्ध पूर्व में भी आपराधिक मामले दर्ज हैं। गुमला पुलिस ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि जिले में नशे के कारोबार पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए अभियान लगातार जारी रहेगा।
