69वीं राष्ट्रीय स्कूली एथलेटिक्स प्रतियोगिता में झारखंड की उभरती धाविका पूनम कुमारी ने उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हुए राज्य को कांस्य पदक दिलाया है। यह राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता हरियाणा के भिवानी स्थित भीम स्टेडियम में आयोजित की जा रही है।
400 मीटर दौड़ स्पर्धा में पूनम कुमारी ने 55.66 सेकंड का समय दर्ज करते हुए शानदार प्रदर्शन किया और झारखंड के लिए पहला पदक हासिल किया।
यह प्रतियोगिता 26 से 30 नवंबर 2025 तक आयोजित है, जिसमें झारखंड की अंडर–19 बालक एवं बालिका टीम स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग, झारखंड सरकार के अधीन झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद, रांची के नेतृत्व में भाग ले रही है।
झारखंड स्कूली एथलेटिक्स टीम प्रतियोगिता में कोच/मैनेजर ज्ञान प्रकाश, हिमाद्री मुर्मू एवं सिद्धू किस्कू के मार्गदर्शन में हिस्सा ले रही है।
