गुमला थाना के सामने प्रशासन का डंडा, 160 उल्लंघनकर्ताओं पर ₹2.25 लाख का भारी जुर्माना

गुमला : गुमला जिले में तेजी से बढ़ती सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर प्रभावी ढंग से लगाम लगाने के उद्देश्य से, जिला प्रशासन ने अपनी सख्ती जारी रखी है, व्यापक अभियान के ठीक अगले दिन, 29 नवंबर, 2025 को उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित और पुलिस कप्तान हरिश बिन जमां के निर्देशानुसार, जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी (डीटीओ) ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल और थाना प्रभारी महेंद्र कुमार करमाली के नेतृत्व में गुमला थाना के सामने एक व्यापक और सघन जाँच अभियान चलाया गया।

डीटीओ अपनी टीम और पुलिस फोर्स के साथ मुख्य मार्गों पर अचानक तैनात हो गए। इस सघन घेराबंदी से नियम तोड़ने वाले वाहन चालकों में हड़कंप मच गया और किसी भी प्रकार का बहाना नहीं चल पाया। इस विशेष पहल के दौरान, यातायात नियमों का खुलेआम उल्लंघन करने वाले 160 लोगों को पकड़ा गया। प्रशासन ने इन उल्लंघनकर्ताओं से कुल ₹2,25,000 (दो लाख पच्चीस हजार रुपए) का बड़ा जुर्माना किया गया।

अभियान का मुख्य जोर जीवन रक्षक नियमों पर था। डीटीओ टीम ने दोपहिया वाहन चालकों के लिए हेलमेट की अनिवार्यता और चार पहिया वाहन चालकों के लिए सीट बेल्ट का उपयोग सुनिश्चित कराने पर विशेष ध्यान दिया। मोटर यान निरीक्षक ने स्पष्ट किया कि सड़कों पर सुरक्षा बनाए रखने के लिए नियमों का निरंतर उल्लंघन करने वाले चालकों पर कड़ा नियंत्रण आवश्यक है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि इस अभियान का प्राथमिक लक्ष्य सिर्फ जुर्माना वसूलना नहीं, बल्कि गुमला जिले में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं को शून्य पर लाना है।

जाँच के दौरान अधिकारियों ने विभिन्न प्रकार के गंभीर उल्लंघनों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की, जिनमें प्रमुख थे: सुरक्षा नियमों का उल्लंघन जैसे बिना हेलमेट के गाड़ी चलाना, ‘ट्रिपल राइडिंग’ (तीन सवारी), तेज गति से वाहन चलाना और सीट बेल्ट का उपयोग न करना। इसके अलावा, ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस, इंश्योरेंस, परमिट, पीयूसी (PUC) जैसे ज़रूरी दस्तावेज़ों के बिना वाहन चलाने, प्रेशर हॉर्न जैसे अनाधिकृत उपकरणों का उपयोग करने, और टेंपो/पिकअप जैसे मालवाहकों में निर्धारित क्षमता से अधिक सामान लादने (ओवरलोडिंग) के मामलों पर भी सख्त कार्रवाई की गई।

पकड़े गए चालकों पर आर्थिक दंड लगाने के साथ ही, एम.भी.आई. ने उन्हें व्यक्तिगत रूप से लापरवाही के गंभीर परिणामों के बारे में समझाया। अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट अंतिम चेतावनी जारी करते हुए कहा, “जान बचानी है तो सुधार जाएं, हेलमेट रहेगा साथ जिंदगी भी साथ रहेगी, हेलमेट घर पर छोड़ेंगे, जिला प्रशासन आपको नहीं छोड़ेगी।”

प्रदीप कुमार तिर्की, और डीटीओ कार्यालय के कर्मी एवं पुलिस बल प्रमुख रूप से उपस्थित थे। अधिकारियों ने यह स्पष्ट कर दिया है कि भविष्य में यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ और भी कठोर और कानूनी कदम उठाए जाएंगे।
