नाला-बांध में डूबने से किसान की मौत, सिंचाई के दौरान हुआ हादसा

गुमला: गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र के बह्मनी खोरा गांव में नाला-बांध में डूबने से एक किसान की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई। मृतक की पहचान 38 वर्षीय राजेंद्र उरांव के रूप में हुई है। बताया गया कि वह मंगलवार की शाम आलू की फसल की सिंचाई के लिए खेत गया था, लेकिन देर रात तक घर नहीं लौटा।

इसके बाद परिजनों और ग्रामीणों ने उसकी तलाश शुरू की। बुधवार दोपहर ग्रामीणों की मदद से नाला-बांध से उसका शव बरामद किया गया। सूचना मिलते ही गुमला सदर थाना के एसआई विनय कुमार महतो पुलिस बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे और शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए सदर अस्पताल, गुमला भेजा गया।

पोस्टमॉर्टम की प्रक्रिया पूरी होने के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया है। पुलिस ने मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है।

मृतक के परिजन मंगलदेव उरांव ने पुलिस को बताया कि राजेंद्र उरांव मंगलवार शाम घर से कुछ दूरी पर

स्थित अपने खेत में आलू की सिंचाई करने गया था। आशंका जताई जा रही है कि पैर फिसलने के कारण वह नाले के पानी में गिर गया और डूबने से उसकी मौत हो गई। परिजनों ने यह भी जानकारी दी कि राजेंद्र उरांव मिर्गी की बीमारी से पीड़ित था।

राजेंद्र उरांव अपने पीछे दो छोटी बेटियों को छोड़ गया है। घटना के बाद परिवार पर दुखों का पहाड़ टूट पड़ा है। परिजनों ने जिला प्रशासन से आर्थिक सहायता की मांग की है, ताकि बच्चों की शिक्षा और भविष्य सुरक्षित किया जा सके।
